IM SURE A LOT OF PEOPLE THINK SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE PROBABLY HAVE THE BEST FUCKING LIFE AND ARE SUPER HAPPY ALL THE TIME AND SORROUNDED BY PEOPLE AND NEVER LONELY RIGHT? SO WHY DO YOU THINK SO MANY ARTISTS TAKE THEIR OWN LIFES WAY TOO EARLY? MOST DO NOT LIVE AMAZING FUCKING LIFES LIKE IT IS PROJECTED ON SOCIAL MEDIA. I WOULD EVEN SAY A LOT OF SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE ARE SUCCESSFUL CAUSE THEY ARE TRYING TO GET AWAY FROM THE PAIN AND ITS PUSHING THEM TO WORK SUPER HARD EVERY DAY AND HAVING AN EVEN BIGGER DESIRE THEN OTHERS TO SUCCEED OR EXPRESS THEMSELVES ARTISTICALLY CAUSE THEY FAIL DOING SO ON OTHER LEVELS IVE ASKED MYSELF A LOT IF IM BETTER OFF DEAD. FEELING HOPELESS AND LIKE NOBODY CAN HELP ME. LIKE IM WORTH NOTHING APART FROM MY PERSONA. ARTISTS AND CONTENT CREATORS ARE EASY TARGETS AS PUBLIC PEOPLE. BUT THEY ARE ALSO SENSITIVE HUMAN BEINGS. THATS WHAT MAKES IT ABLE FOR THEM TO CREATE CONTENT THAT PEOPLE RESONATE WITH. MOST OF THEM ARE VERY LONELY. EVEN ARTISTS WITH A BIG FANBASE. IT CAN EVEN FEEL THE OPPOSITE WAY. IMAGINE HAVING ALL THESE FANS AND SUCCESS STILL UR LONELY IN YOUR HEAD WITH THE MENTAL ILLNESSES FEELING DISCONNECTED LONGING FOR A CONNECTION. REALISING AFTER REACHING ALL YOU EVER THOUGHT YOU WANTED YOU STILL ARE NOT FEELING OKAY IN YOUR HEAD AND LIKE SOMETHING IS VERY WRONG. OR LIKE YOU DONT BELONG ANYWHERE. OUR ART AND SOCIAL MEDIA MADE US FEEL CONNECTED IN THIS DISCONNECTED WORLD. AT THE SAME TIME SOCIAL MEDIA IS CAUSING THIS VERY DISCONNECTION AND FUCKING MOST OF US UP. I've been dealing with heavy depression for the last 6 years. but eventually i found a game called geometry dash( ik im bringing gd to the comments) and it got me into dubstep. i heard your music for the 1st time through that game, and it encouraged me to start making my own music. it has really helped me keep pushing. all the times ive almost faced the same outcome as reckful, i remembered all the good memories you gave me, like just hearing your levels in gd. you're part of the reason im still here today. and i wanted to tell you to keep up the good work and thanks for helping me find an outlet ive always needed.

right, so i have APD (anti-social personality disorder), i’ve been diagnosed and it basically means i have 1 of 4 mental disorders but we can’t tell which one yet (cause i’m 16 and to get a diagnosis that isn’t just APD i have to be 18 so they won’t even bother). essentially i can have either bipolar, schizophrenia, sociopathy or psychopathy. i battle with my head daily and often drink to numb the difficulties, fuck i’m hungover rn. buttttt i wanna say oskar, i fucking love your music and this song in particular i played so so so much over the past year. it was my spotify no1 song of 2020 and it just helped. i can’t say what in particular causes this song to be so emotional but it is and i love it, i love you oskar, don’t ever stop making music cause it reallly helps with most things. when i listen to your music it just allows me to forget about the problems of my life for a few minutes and just relax
