Panda house is located in Al Khor, near Al Khor park. We can see two pandas named - Suhail (male panda) and Thuraya (female panda) in the panda house. It is one of the mind-relaxing places. We can enjoy the naughtiness of panda. It was a wonderful experience.
The Ministry explained the main features and facilities of the Panda House, which was inaugurated on 17-11-2022 by the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani. The ministry shared that the facility has a perimeter wall, an outdoor garden path, outdoor booths, a garden, and a connecting door to Al Khor Zoo. Up to 300 parking spaces are also provided for visitors. The area of Panda House Park consists of 464 trees and 2,814 bamboo plants. It also has a Global Sustainability Assessment System (GSAS) certification. The 120,000 square meter park includes a 37 square meter plant mural and gallery, with a capacity of 725 people. Visitors can access gift shops, a cafe, a veterinary clinic, and prayer rooms.
