@@pangrowlin3599 China supposedly isolated the virus and no every PCR test is looking for what they isolated. No other lab has been able to isolate the virus. THERE IS NO VALID TEST TO DETECT SARS-COV-2, neither antibody or antigen tests nor RT-PCR. And we included those based on the supposed gene that codes for the S1 or spike protein. And that means that ALL THE NUMBERS OF "CASES", "INFECTED", “SICK", "Asymptomatic" OR "DEAD DUE TO COVID-19" LACK A SCIENTIFIC BASE AND ALL “POSITIVES” ARE FALSE POSITIVES.

Very few people go out and vote in UK local elections. NO government would trash it's economy if it didn't truly believe that this was the best and right thing to do. We don't do dictators in the Uk this is the cradle of free speech and democracy. Yes the Eu has approved meal worms as a human food. i have heard they are nutty and Delicious. If my aunt had a beard she'd be my uncle. :) joking aside, definitely more clinical data required but with over 30 MILLION vaccines already given if the supposed efficacy was 19-29% don't you think we would have heard many many cases where recipients have gone on to catch covid or died given most of these 30 million doses have been given to those over 80 in the most risky group? I mean 30 MILLION. Quite a big trial amount there eh Gary? Why have we not heard of deaths or severe illness yet among those vaccinated if the reported vaccination efficacy is 19-29%?

Hello from the Republic of Ireland. Before Christmas, our government bended to pressure from small businesses and large, to reopen the pubs and restaurants in the run up to Christmas time. Our COVID infection rates this month have proven that this was a mistake. For the record, "a crowded pub" in Ireland can mean that it's so crowded that you may not be able to move you shoulders. Generally you can, but they can get that crowded. There is legal requirements for the maximum amount of people in a room, and pubs did have extended seating on the streets, but how well enforced it got, I don't know. Pub drinking hours here in Ireland and safe drinking, has always been a case of "lets see what we can get away with before the police shut us down", type mentality. God help the police trying to enforce this stuff.

The Contagion Myth by Dr Tom Cowan and Sally Fallon Morell. The good doctor has a channel where they talk about the book and his nuanced understanding of disease. Spoiler: there is no such thing as contagion, and viruses are not an underlying cause of disease. Vaccines and toxins, chemicals and radiation are though of course, along with other factors, malnutrition for example.

@@tiptoe6214 I do plenty of my own research. When it comes to general, international covid updates Dr. John is a solid resource, as well as the studies/research he cites. He points out things that certainly aren't going to show up on US media, or the BBC...but that I can look up myself...like how fucked you are if you're indigenous to anywhere right now. Rural Brasil, Venezuela, US, Australia, etc. I wouldn't've thought to think about such fringes... ...but can then go research, scientific materials, Why...

In Sweden, almost nobody got tested in the spring. Only if you were severely ill and had arrived at the A&E with suspected Covid-19 infection. Stockholm, by the way, can be very crowded.- It's not like we all live in cabins in the woods. :)

@David WP Pcr tests are roughly 1% likely to be positive when you are not sick. This means no one is II they give the 1% error rate. If 10% of the people are sick, they will show a roughly 0.9% error rate showing 10.9% sick when 10% are actually sick.. While they may give an inaccurate result for an individual, over the population you can get a very good estimate of Community infection rates. When positivity rates are 15% from PCR testing, you're going to have roughly 14.15% of the population infected. Death rates in the UK and the US have run about a 3% CFR for identified cases since last April. That means for every 100000 new cases, the are 3000 deaths baked in. With 23 million cases identified in the United States, that means that we have roughly 92 million cases total and roughly 700,000. Baked in at this point. So that's about 25% of the population and herd immunity won't occur with the new strain until about 88%. So we're about 63% or about 210 million people short of herd immunity. However hospitals are becoming overwhelmed and nurses and doctors are burning out and putting. Instead of a one-to-one to 1 to 4 nurse-to-patient ratio we're seeing 1 to 30. Hospitals putting patients in gift shops and hallways. Things will continue to get worse through January 20th the January 25th when death rates will probably Peak. I'm worried that the CFR will be above 3% for the last 10 days of January though.

We are not in a mess in the UK, we lead the world in testing, treating and vaccinating. The three things that matter the most. Stop swallowing the Labour, SNP, MSM left wing propaganda. Our high infection rate are due to the new variant, that is not the governments fault. Our high death rate is due to underlying susceptibility factors such as age, population density, Vit D levels, mobility patterns and obesity which again have nothing to do with the government. We need to be more mature and sensible in our analysis and discussions.

Yesterday, a trip to my local clinic in Portland, Oregon left me astounded at the inability of the state to get the millions of viles of vaccines that are held in freezers distributed to front line workers. @@garyfumeaux9226 Well Gary, I've read Peter Doshi's artical and it makes me wonder whether you yourself have bothered to "read the data" and "make up your own mind" or whether you have just taken what Peter Doshi says as gospel. In fact, Peter Doshi is making two main points - the first is that if you add the "suspected COVID" cases to the "confirmed COVID" cases then the Pfizer vaccine is not very effective. My answer to that is that none of the "suspected COVID" cases got hospitalised or died (otherwise they would have been tested and confirmed) so actually I don't mind if a vaccine is only good enough to stop me being hospitalised or dead. His second point is that the study wasn't truly 'blind' because people who had the vaccine suffered more side effects (sore arm, headache, etc) so would have been aware that they had had the vaccine rather than placebo. Hmm... let me think about that one... If I thought I had had the vaccine would that make me more, or less, likely to take more risks? More likely I think, don't you? So he's saying that people who were MORE likely to catch the virus actually didn't catch it (and conversely people who were less likeley to catch the virus actually did catch it). That makes me think the vacccine is even better than the figures suggest.

If that is the price that will be charged for the administered vaccine, it is not outrageous - at least by US standards. Here in the US, doctors or pharmacists sometimes charge $75 or more (sometimes much more) simply to have their nurse administer a shot. That will not be the case for individuals here in the US, as the government has stated that the vaccine will be administered at no cost. However, the doctors/hospitals/pharmacies are allowed to bill peoples' medical insurance for these inoculation fees.

An interesting point made at a Select Committee meeting today regarding the vaccine which may actually affect the numbers/speed of vaccinations. It was pointed out that the UK is currently targeting specific groups and therefore this is a slower process. Some other countries have opened their doors to anyone and everyone at their massive vaccination centres and are therefore vaccinating people of all ages and therefore many at lower risk. Going into care homes for example takes a lot longer than footfall from a high street of young and able people who are at less risk to Covid. I think the UK has the right strategy for reducing death numbers albeit the first phase taking longer. As we move down the list, I imagine things will speed up exponentially as people can go to the vaccine rather than the other way round.

Please listen to or read The Contagion Myth by Dr Tom Cowan and Sally Fallon Morell. The good doctor has a channel where they talk about the book and his nuanced understanding of disease. Spoiler: there is no such thing as contagion, and viruses are not an underlying cause of disease. Vaccines and toxins, chemicals and radiation are though of course, along with other factors, malnutrition for example.

Because the Kent-Cluster is taking over right now. Were now using the Delta test on all positive tested. I just had a virtual checkup with my family doctor. He asked me to start taking Vitamin D and began describing the evidence, including studies directly related to Covid-19. I let him prattle on for a bit 😃 and then said “I have good news for you! I’ve been taking 2000 IU daily since February.” He was happy about that! He said he is taking 4000 IU daily all winter, so I guess I will be doubling my dose. I’m in Canada 🇨🇦 and can’t travel to sunny climes this winter.

I think it's a good call to double that dose!! I've been taking 4000iu for several years because I'm house bound. In addition I'm recovering from the virus on day 11, it's nasty but not half as bad as l expected. I am certain it would have been far worse had I not had the vit d on board. You're probably fine with 2000 IU but if you take anything close to 10,000, you should have periodic blood test. Vitamin D Hypertoxicity where your levels are over 100, can be painful for an extended period Of time.

Your question is framed very oddly. The restrictions _do_ work against both. Influenza virus is less transmissible than Coronavirus, so the restrictions work against Influenza to a greater degree than Coronavirus.

Dr. Campbell , thank you for your dailly hard work in helping us to better understand this disease. As a Brazilian, I would like to chime in. Yes the study was designed to health care workers to "stress" the vaccine in worst case scenario (about 9000 HCW). The overall efficacy is about 50.38% with a 78% of efficacy in light cases that require no medical care or litle attention and 100% in no hospitalization. Regards from Brazil!

Today in the UK our Health and Social Care Select Committee was very interesting on the Oxford vaccine. Representatives from the companies stated that after one dose the effectiveness of not becoming ill with Covid 19 is 73%. The second dose increases this to 90%., but regardless no-one in the clinical trials become severely ill or hospitalised.There understanding of the dosage and intervals has evolved from the trails (where there were varying intervals). They're now saying that on the latest data the sweet spot of the 2nd dose is 8-12 weeks from the first.

Already communicated this. The interesting side is if we consider that by delaying the second dose to (at least) 12 weeks, we get a rollover if A LOT more people have one dose. That's a "force multiplier" in a similar way to masks. "73%% reduction" on a 73% reduction. That's a 7.2% chance of infection "I protect you, you protect me"? Reduces your chance of infection, reduces your load if you are infected, reduces the load you spread, those you spread to are more likely to have the single dose, etc, etc. And over at least the first 13 weeks, the numbers vaccinated would Increase exponentially. For every day you hold off, ore more is vaccinated..... And they do the same. You only need the vaccine if others are infected, so if we "all" had one dose within 3 months....? Even those not vaccinated wouldn't be meeting many infected people. This is the best chance of R0.0 (imo) Could be as soon as 4 months.

Because what is "recovered" when there are a sizeable number of people who are still having many symptoms many months later, or whose lungs have been scarred, kidneys damaged and so on? And then there's Derek Draper, still in a coma many months after having Covid. None of these people have Covid any more but they are far from recovered. At the moment they are not separately listed either, although they certainly should be.

UK has 1.7 million active cases with 1.4 million recovered. The current death rate 1,245 per million with a total of 84,767 deaths. That is a 2.6% CFR which is 0.4% lower than the US CFR of 3%. I think the difference is a combination of politicization of the disease in the United States with some patients denying they are dying of covid-19 as they die from it which means they delayed getting traded and our private healthcare system which can put you tens of thousands of dollars in debt for covid-19 which means people avoid going to the hospital for it until it's too late. John, could you check the numbers for Croatia? apparently the numbers are dropping rapidly and there should be really no reason for that since the whole of Croatia is gathering in the earthquake hit region to help. Always appreciate your videos but please focus on more than US/UK (and Sweden!). I know that there is more easily available data but it’s less interesting to always hear daily about UK/US (particularly the US). Why no coverage of the UAE for example who are globally number 2 in the vaccination drive?!

You should get more info on the sinovac vacine tested in Brazil. The phase 3 volunteers were only health personnel working on hospital mostly with covid 19 patients. Anyone with any syntom suggesting covid 19 were PCR tested. Not one of the volunteers that received the vacine had serious infection and 78% had mild or no symptons. In Brazil two Institutes with 120 years of experience not only in production of vacines, but also in research have applied to the regulatory federal board (ANVISA) for emergency user. FioCruz Institute (Oxford vacine) and Butantã Institute (Sinovac) expected to receive approval for emergerncy use early next week. Both Institutes will be producing the vacines locally. Brazil has great experience in vacination of its 220 millions population and it's prepared to use the same logistic for other vacines. Few countrys with Brazil population have vacination expertise. Check it.

John, I would like you to be clear about preventing - infection - disease - mortality. I think 50% prevention of infection could be pretty good if its 100% effective against mortality. We need more data 👍

That's the "one dose" strategy. You can add that those given one dose, even if they DO contract the virus, will spread a lower load and that it's more likely those receiving that load will *also* be vaccinated. It's cumulative and exponential, opposite to the rampant infection.

@@indigoblue4791 Yes he says, it's not very good that the vaccine only has 50% efficacy against symptomatic infection. He doesn't state that it could be 100% or 50% effective against mortality. Being clear on the what it's efficacious against would be much clearer and if we don't know state it as an information gap 👍

Ivermectin if you can get it in the UK. Haven't heard Dr. Campbell mention it. Everybody who knows about it in the US is getting it as soon as they have symptoms or as prophylaxis. Highly effective and cheap.

I think you mean factory farms. And factory farming is not as much of a factor. Human to animal contact is important in that occurs more in smaller Farms. Likewise a previously untouched Reservoir is more likely to have novel and extremely toxic diseases. Factory farms are more likely to give rise to a mutated strain of an existing disease.

@@timseytiger9280 actually the events portrayed in the movie Contagion were based on real life. Bats do drop partially eaten contaminated food into factory farm pens. But you're right most human bat transmission occurs near bat caves.

The difference in efficacy could be in terms of how well the vaccine was handled during transport and administration or quality control problems with production of different batches.

It is monitored & tracked during transport and storage and there are very specific instructions about handling, and expiry time once it's opened (Astrazeneca) or reconstituted (Pfizer). All batches are also tested by the MHRA prior to being issued for use. [Guess who's just done her online vaccination training??]

Two points regarding the Oxford vaccine: first, does the fact that the US and EU are being slow to approve it, mean that we will get better supplies here in the UK in the meantime? And second, it's interesting that the efficacy figures for the Sinovac vaccine from the Brazilian trial were relatively low, and I recall that the same was true for the Brazilian trial of the Oxford vaccine. Is this just a coincidence or is there something else going on here?

My understanding is that Turkey still gives tuberculosis vaccines to all their citizens. Does Mexico and Indonesia do this as well? That might explain the difference in the efficacy of this vaccine.

Actually John, the vast majority of Swedish population lives in urban areas with the same crowded urban areas like urban areas in other countries. The population who live in remote areas and spaced out is a small percentage of the total population.

Don't hold your breath! Dr Campbell only believes in vaccines! You don't need him, you have the channel you are following. Check out Wim Hoff too. And a few EFT sources. It's all quite easy to find. I stopped taking my hypertension medication years ago and got my BP much lower just with breathing techniques. But remember if people have their vit D blood levels up they shouldn't be having any problems breathing if they get Covid.

Thank you Dr. Campbell for doing these videos as you do a good job of explaining all this complex medical stuff for us ordinary mortals. #1. You've said a couple of times when talking about vaccine roll-out, "Where is Canada?" One thought occurred to me: Do you factor in the supply of vaccine available when you look at the roll-out? Here in Canada, we've been told that we won't be getting a huge amount of supply (1 million doses per week) until April. Until then, it will be a few hundred thousand shots every few weeks. So, you can be as efficient as all heck, but if the supply isn't there, it isn't there. It would be interesting to see how a country's roll-out compares with elsewhere when factoring in the amount of supply. #2. My wife works in a Long Term Care home (btw, she received her second shot of the Pfizer vaccine yesterday and 93% of the residents of her home were vaccinated with the first shot of Moderna vaccine last week, so a bit of good news). However, she contracted Covid-19 in April. Fortunately it was a relatively mild case. However, I never got it (I was tested twice and both times came up negative). I happen to be taking vitamin D3 (1000 units until recently when I upped it to 2000 units as we have had a very dark winter here in Toronto so far--almost British-like) and have been using mouthwash twice a day to deal with some stains on my teeth. So your comments about vitamin D and your recent video on the Brazilian experience of using mouthwash to fight Covid-19 were very interesting. Do I just happen to have some sort of natural immunity to Covid-19, or was it the vitamin D + mouthwash? Could we fight this pandemic by getting everyone to take vitamin D + use mouthwash twice a day? Too bad we don't have an answer to that question. #3.
