Rashid Khan's Tanpura Jodi was specially designed and got it crafted by Pandit Bhimsen-Ji. Rashid Khan himself told me this fact. Bhimen-Ji did this because he saw in Rashid a bright future for Khyal music.

Earlier music had no religion everybody supported each other regardless of their religion and caste...hope that time comes back and everybody live in peace and harmony

Those who dislikes the song they are requested to perform like Bhimsen joshi& Rashid Khan. Only the ignorant man can dislike the classical song. But both they are the tiger of Indian Classical song .

While listening to their raag ShankaraI I fell asleep and when i woke up they were singing a different raag-without looking at the title i guessed it was raag Darbari and then i looked at the thumbnail and found out it was darbari.I should be a little proud of my little knowledge for having guessed the raag without looking at the title.
