Paneer Malai Tikka
Preparation Time: 20 minutes + Marinating Time
Cooking Time: 20 miutes
Serves: 3-4
Ingredients:
200g Paneer
1/4 cup Hung Yoghurt
1 tbsp Lemon Juice
1/8tsp Nutmeg Powder
1/2 tsp Green Cardamom Powder
1 tsp chopped Green Chilies
Salt to taste
1/2 tsp Garam Masala Powder
1 tsp White Pepper Powder
2tbsp Garlic Paste
1 tbsp Butter
2 tbsp Cream
1 tsp Kasuri Methi
1 tbsp grated Processed Cheese
Paneer Cubes
1 large Tomato, diced
1 medium Capsicum, dices
1 medium Onion, diced
Method:
Cut paneer into 1” cubes.
Mix together the hung curd, lemon juice, nutmeg powder, cardamom powder, chopped green chilies, salt to taste, garam masala, white pepper powder, garlic paste, kasuri methi, processed cheese, butter and blend well.
Add in the paneer cubes and diced vegetables and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Bring a piece of coal to heat.
Place the coal in the marinated paneer , add a little ghee over it and cover immediately and securely. Allow the paneer to smoke for at least 10 minutes.
Arrange the paneer pieces and vegetables on a skewer and grill. Baste with oil at intervals. Serve hot with chutney and onion rings.
