I remember when I first played Tetris Attack, I always wondered why the game theme felt feminine, which is strange for a Yoshi game, until I found out that THIS here is the reason. I wish they kept the original cast for the international release. But I heard this version is actually easier than the one we got.

Just the thought that this game exists on the go and may introduce more kids to the overwhelming addictive fun of this game fills me with great joy. I'm 25, been playing (the US version obviously) since I was six with my mother. Its addiction persists to this day, it really is one of my favorite games ever. P.S. Good job RU-vid. Thank you for placing a manscaping commercial in the middle of my cutesy fairy princess puzzle game video.

The game where the Flower Lip from smash came from, which always confuses me where it was originally from.

I had some friends who got 10x 20x combos like nothing, seeing them playing 2P mode was like 😳🤯 they fill the whole screen up to danger right from the beginning and start to combo down while in frozen time

This is the reason why I prefer this original version over the Tetris Attack that was swap with a Yoshi's Island theme. Especially the final, final boss is so intense especially with the creepy but epic music that puts you on your feet when facing a goddess. I question, why didn't they place that during the battle against Bowser than before it?

Nintendo just needs to allow this patch to become an option for the actual Panel De Pon game on the Switch, and then make a special Panel De Pon AND Tetris Attack game on an acutal SNES/NSFC cartridge (and make it a cute girly sort of pink as well, probably dusty pink, rose pink, bubble gum pink, regular pink, hot pink, or neon pink) that allows a few more options, such as adding the Option selection to the Main Menu of Panel De Pon, expanding English, Japanese, and other language options to also be put in all of the screens of the game, and ditto for Tetris Attack, and allowing what I term a Special Menu option that is at the beginning of the game that not only allows for a person to choose between Panel De Pon and Tetris Attack (of which Nintendo can just pay The Tetris Company/Blue Planet Software, or, formerly, Bullet-Proof Software, for the rights to the game name again, as well as adding a good offer to that company, namely, that The Tetris Company can use the Panel De Pon format for making other versions of the game on other consoles, as well as for PC, Mac, Linux, Stadia, Ouya, iPhone, and Android formats, just not with using the Tetris Attack or Panel De Pon characters, which seems like a fair trade off), but also an all new Panel De Pon Vs. Tetris Attack mode as well, not just for Player 1 versus the CPU, a.k.a., Story Mode, but also Player 1 versus the CPU in the regular Versus Mode, as well as Player 1 versus Player 2 in each mode. Moreover, in the new Panel De Pon Vs. Tetris Attack game, there is its own unique Story Mode as well, which also naturally means a longer game. Bowser and his minions, as well as Cordelia and her minions, both seek to control both Yoshi and his/her friends AND Lip and her friends. However, at the end of this game, there is a twist, namely, that Bowser was actually using Cordelia and her minions to control everyone, including, naturally, Cordelia and her minions, and Bowser is just a manipulative jerk like that, which is honestly a long time coming for him, particularly because other meaner villains, such as Smithy, Count Bleck, Princess Shroob/Elder Princess Shroob, Cackletta, the Shadow Queen, and King Olly, have all gotten the jump on Bowser first and he naturally wants to try and change that trend of that happening to him. However, Bowser also knew that Cordelia not only wanted to get the jump on Bowser first, but that Cordelia was also only pretending to be a villain, as she wanted Lip to get her and her friends to be able to defend the Fairy Kingdom and its island archipelago. Moreover, Bowser also found out that, through spies that he had in place of where Cordelia and her minions lived, as it turns out, not only is where Lip and her friends, as well as where Cordelia and her friends, all live is all collectively called the Fairy Kingdom, but also the fact that Lip and her friends are actually also good friends with the Sprixies and the Lumas, as well as have political alliances with the Sprixie Kingdom and the Comet Kingdom (Comet Observatory) and they are also their allies, thus this revelation is also having New Super Mario Brothers, Super Mario 3D, Super Mario Galaxy, and, naturally, Yoshi's Island tie ins to the story of Panel De Pon, and that it also has a bit of payback to three other places that had humiliated and defeated him before in his past. (I could also note that the Fairy Kingdom is the link between the Mushroom Kingdom and the Kingdom of Hyrule as well, as the Kingdom of Hyrule just so happens to have a Death Mountain as well and that fairies also exist within the Kingdom of Hyrule, so this power grab could also include a third faction, namely, Ganon/Ganondorf and his minions, as well as the other villains, and heroes, from the Kingdom of Hyrule and its surrounding lands.) Do those ideas for the game sound like good ideas to you, @DarkBowser64?

How do you even place blocks so freakin' fast? Amazing!!

I don't know if it's just me, but Tetris Attack's Very Hard mode seems a good deal harder than Panel de Pon. The CPU tend to chain a lot longer than the ones in this version.

It was our limited knowledge and naïvetè that our version didn't end up with a Sailor Moon-styled Nintendo published puzzle game. It's understandable that many people were jealous with Japan getting the fairy-themed Nintendo puzzle game that had a Yoshi skin when this game got localized.

In the Japanese version, Selene is called Seren, which is my sister's name. I always play as her in vs for good luck

How many people here first played this kind of game through Pokemon Puzzle League and not Tetris attack. Cause when When I see a rising wall of blocks, I think Pokemon puzzle League where'd you get a really good combination of destroying the blocks. You get a powerful fanfare

I would love to make a puzzle game that is a combination of this franchise, the Bejeweled franchise, the Puzzle Bobble/Bust-A-Move franchise, and something like the Candy Crush, Scapes (Homescapes and its similar franchises), and/or Sailor Moon Drops games. I think that something like that would be an awesome puzzle game.

Let me get this straight. Nintendo Switch had Tetris 99. Ok? *TETRIS* FREAKING 99. And years before that, they developed the name "Tetris Attack" with Yoshi's Island characters. But when they have a Super NES collection years later ON the Switch...guess what? We got THIS untranslated game! Not many people have experience with hacks, so being able to play this in Japanese if you don't know Japanese, RIP to you.

I was introduced to this game when i was in elementary school in Vietnam, when somehow everyone got that home burned CD with hundreds of Nintendo game and I learned to access the black screen on Windows 95 to access it. i never knew its name because it was in Japanese but i was obsessed. Recently found this game again on retro games. Love it. Please tell me how to get this game on switch. I have a switch lite to play animal crossing but i don’t play enough games to know how to purchase them

Honestly this game is more fun to watch between two similarly skilled players. I've seen better plays, but not better drama. Good video!
