37:10 Ellen Langer's most deep insight shouldn't be glossed over because she is so humorous ... "if we approach any and every moment in in GLADO (Generous, Loving, Authentic, Direct & Open) way .. there's no need to be anywhere else doing something else ... this moment is it ... pay full attention to this moment, is to love it, to fully embrace life ... Go Ellen Langer ! 😀

Dr. Langer must be appalled at this panel. This great psychologist was definitely disrespected, especially by the moderator.

I caught on to the shade at 4:22 “professor in the middle” but Ellen handled it gracefully.

Langer makes more sense. The moderator is disrespectful of Dr. Langer.

Shame they don't seem to understand the Selfish Gene theory. The nature of the selfish gene is the very reason we have altruistic love and selflessness! It helps protect the gene as opposed to the individuals.

Brilliant discussion. Consider the same discussion with acknowledging the importance of connection (physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually, to ourselves, others, and to nature) as a strong influence on happiness. It's there between the lines...

Found this poorly moderated. There are three amazing guest speakers and yet they were marginalised, closed down, and completely ignored. While they had so much to say - and while they were happy to refer to each other, they were moderated into some interesting binds. Would have loved to hear more from Ross - why was he there? After EL pushes herself in, the moderator seemed at times to forget to include him.

The way i look at the glass and water depends on how it was filled. If its full to the brim the glass is full, if you drink half of it, the glass is half empty. If you have an empty glass and fill it half way it is not half empty but only half full.
