Good idea, I run an electric start on my 52 Pan,and a 45amp alternator that plugs in where the generator used to be. 👍👍

I am also going to have a electrical start installed on my 1962 FLH Panhead. My knee is bone on bone with this install i will continue to ride at 74 years old keeping my face in the wind

You do amazing work!! I absolutely LOVE the old school California style choppers you build. I'm having a Captain America tribute bike being right now, and it's nearly finished. I'm running a '49 Panhead with a Baker 6 into 4 Kickstart transmission with a Cycle Tech electric start kit that uses the tin primaries. It was a bit of a challenge for the builder to get it all to fit, but he's talented like you are, and made it all work. Keep on choppin'!!

I'm working on a 1983 Shovel Head. I was looking for a way to improve the starter set up... Thanks for the info... CrazyHorse Speed Shop NJ, usa

Cool , man! Long time! I have exactly same spyke starter- its good, small and strong. What I suggest is to mount hand starter instead of solenoid. Solenoid sucks and makes a lot of troubles and also fire dangerous.. , so suggest just to replace it to hand starter and you can add your famous hand made metal handle on it like you do for gear shifting handles .

I was looking for english name - you call it knobs . so you can make your own knob on hand starter 😀

I've been impatiently waiting for a new video from the new shop. You do some amazing work and builds. In all honesty how ruff do those stretched out rigid frames ride with a springer on the front? I'm in my 40s and my back isn't what it was but I love the old school long chopper look but I also want to be able to ride it across country or wherever I want. Or should I stick with a softail frame?

Oops!! I meant to say the electric start kit for my Captain America build is from Tech Cycle, not Cycle Tech.
