Liz - Ive been in a few weddings and one of the weddings, the bride gave me a michael kors wallet and it was nice because I used it for months and every time I took out my wallet, I was like “aw Mandy” and another good idea is jewelry for the day so everyone matches and they can also wear it again later!!

It's all a personal descison. I'm getting married this Saturday and I gave the bridesmaids their gifts, which also fit with my theme of the wedding, during the bachelorette cruise in January. Every bride is different, so if you see something next week and think " this is for the girls" just get it. It doesn't have to be a grand gift and it can be given whenever you want to give them the gift.

For my sisters wedding she gave all her maids shirts that said bridesmaid, the jewelry they were gonna wear that day (cause one of the girls wanted to wear the tackiest necklace), and their shoes! She wanted everyone to match exactly, but didn't want anyone to have to buy all that stuff for one day. We all still use the shoes and necklaces!

For the cake..a lot of people will do a smaller decorative one that you can cut into. Then they will do cupcakes. You can do different flavors and the cost is much cheaper.
