It's an extra sticker, which was released after the quarter final Germany vs. Argentina, because Lehmann saved two penalties in the shootout and was the man of the match. Nobody expected Germany's victory at that time and so he was responsible for that sensation. So he deserved his picture in my Panini album. You can still buy this sticker on Ebay by the way!
@@Panini-Potpourri Hello! I understand your point of view. but for collectors, is the real album the one with Lehmann in addition for Germany, the real Barreto for Paraguay and Inzaghi instead of Vieri for Italy? Because I am currently completing this legendary album and it interests me greatly. Last question: what to do with the 4 England extra-stickers when there are only 3 "errors" on their pages: King, Wright-Phillips and Defoe? Thanks in advance
@@Panini-Potpourri For an album like the one from 2006, I agree with you (but owning the extra stickers is always a nice thing :D). For information, I counted 78 "errors" on the 2006 album, I think it has charm ;) But for an album like that of Euro 2020, it would seem a shame not to stick the 72 extra stickers produced by Panini (while keeping the 72 "errors" of course, something I did).
@@Panini-Potpourri Hast Du auch mal die Erstlingsbilder der stars in nem Video zusammen gestellt, wär das ne Idee? what about the rookie stickers from the stars in one video?
@@IronIck45 Das ist tatsächlich eine sehr gute Idee und ich überlege schon seit Tagen, wie ich das schlagkräftig konzeptionell und visuell umsetzen kann. Vielen Dank dafür!
Hello. Jens Lehmann and four stickers of England is the update sticker set? You stick them over a player or not? (Sorry for my bad english I hope you understand.
Normally update stickers are out of interest for me, but in this case I ordered Lehmann, because for me as a German he was a significant player for the 3rd place in our home tournament (especially in the penalty shootout against Argentina). I pasted him onto a more or less blank space ("Germany qualified as hosts"). The English stickers are all original.
Actually you can buy 10 of it on Ebay for 1 Euro! So the answer is NO! Ten years ago right before the World Cup it was the opposite: 1 of it for 10 Euro!
@@mcfcok1971 Oh, you mean the short German part! They sing "Könnt Ihr verstehen, was es bedeutet, wenn Ihr versucht uns zu erfrieren?", which means something like: "Can you understand what it means, if you try to freeze us to death?"
That was the discriminating fact in older albums. Panini assumed, that players from Africa or Asia are not so interesting for the collectors. So they put 2 images on 1 sticker to reduce the number of stickers. In modern albums they don't do this anymore.
