Graaaaabe naman this video! It's only 11 minutes long but I have so many take aways. Songwriting or just writing was my first love, tinalikuran ko and completely forgot about it when I had my first child 12 years ago. I remember a few weeks back I was talking to my mom, I was bawling, telling her that I feel something's missing, searching for something for a long time and I have no idea what it was. And tonight, I found my old love, my love for writing. 😭😭😭

I started liking all the songs Inigo collab even wd his fav intl artists. And so with our new artists too with the beautiful, new songs they have composed. I love OPM! Ganda! Nagiging instructional video na to para sakin kasi i failed miserably sa mga previous collabs ko with other local songwriters dati, since i thought of myself as a really good writer... Watching this vid, naalala ko tuloy itong quote from someone, "You've got to check your ego at the door. If you think you're the best writer in the room, first of all, you're probably not." Uulit-ulitin ko po ito sir rico 😋
Lahat yata ng sinulat mo idol nong nasa RIVERMAYA kapa sumikat. Walang tapon. Even nowadays po pinapatugtog parin namin yung mga kanta mo. Di kasi nakakasawa. Dami mo pong fans idol. Pero halos lahat nag ka edad na. Di na masyado active sa social media. Cguro kung nauso youtube noon sa prime mo idol. 10 million subs kana. Hehe

Mga creative people talaga intuitively mas sanay magwork ng mag-isa, since making art involves a lot of introspection. Watching this video is very inspiring and encouraging for me to work with others. One lesson I got here is that when you collaborate with people who love to do the same thing as you, it will take you beyond where you’d get compared to when your’e working by yourself. And also to enjoy the journey, kahit minsan frustrating sya, in the end it’s still a learning experience. Thanks for uploading this video :)

I think this was the first time well-known opm song writers got together for a single mission. Really think its great to see veterans and the relatively newer ones in the induatry working together. i'm hoping to hear the amazing songs that would come out of this camp. I got 3 guys in my head that i think would be big addition to this already big songwriting unit and these are Danny Javier, Ely Buendia and Jose Mari Chan.
