R.I.P. Dimebag Darrell Abbott and Vinnie Paul Abbott you both will forever be loved and truly missed always CFH forever!! Long live Dimebag Darrell you are irreplaceable and a legend and metal isn't and will never be the same without you
What cha gotta love is that these bands you're watching -- Pantera, Metallica, Iron Maiden -- all the guys are in their 50s and 60s and still kicking ass. Never mess with the old folks. LOL!
Dimebag Darrell is easily the greatest metal guitarist ever and probably just one of the greatest guitarists ever really. And Phil Anselmo the lead singer is one of the greatest metal front men ever.
I was in a band in flint Michigan and we were supposed to meet DIME BAG DARREL when he was shot dead the night before at a night club. That was a sad day for me as well as many others in the metal scene. ROCK THE HEAVENS BROTHER. We all miss you so much!!
Yesss!!! I turned 18 in 1985... You talk about a GREAT time in heavy metal, then thrash coming in, then death metal, then black metal. I saw Death Angel live in a tiny club, stage divers & body surfers were knocking tiles out of the drop ceiling with their feet! There was even a chick moshing away wearing **a tube top** - um wow - yep, IT happened & she just yanked it back up & dove right back into the pit! LOL 🤘😆🤘
God I wish they were still around. I only had the opportunity to see them once and seeing them in a video live is one thing being there in person was a whole different experience. I walked out of that show a changed man.
Dimebag was a really inspired , tastefull , technical guitarist . A sort of innovator . Vinnie Paul incredible musician . I love his style of playing . A lot of soul in their hearts. R.i.p. GREATS . Texas trash blues funk innovating metal ahahah . What sounds at the beginning with guitar...genious . Rap...hip hop...maybe Travis...The singer Anselmo has italian origins Oooh !! Ahah ! And fricking unbelievable bass sounds ! I always enjoy beautiful bass sounds
Seen Pantera many time back in the day and you spoke facts about the level of insanity at their shows, ohh the times coming home bruised and bloody what awesome times!!🤘🏻 love from Minneapolis
Saw them in a small club in Philly for the Vulgar tour...it looked exactly like this video. Phil told the bouncers to beat it and the rest was pure chaos!
I am asking for a request today, being its the Anniversary of the day Dimebag from Pantera was shot and killed on stage. Nickelback-Side of A Bullet. This song was written about the horrible shooting and the guitar solo is a Dimebag previously unreleased solo. Its heavy, and its a Tribute moreless
Grim Reaper- See You In Hell live in Minneapolis 1987(he holds the last scream for 40 secs) Judas Priest- Freewheel Burning live Dortmund 1984 Skid Row-Youth Gone Wild live Moscow 1989 Queensryche-Queen of the Reich live Tokyo 1984 Mr Big- Daddy, Brother, Lover, Little Boy live Tokyo 1988( guitar solo with a power drill) All are flawless performances that show those bands at their best in their prime
This was filmed at the Basement in Dallas. Cowboys & Psycho Holiday was filmed the same day. I grew up with these guys...they lived about an hour from me in the 80's! 🤘
I wish to God you would have seen this in 1991 or 92, this was an Album that changed Metal forever @The Wolf HunterZ I thank God everyday I was able to see Dime and his brother Vinnie a few times in My Life. They made Me a better older brother
Is one thing time can always do is make that guitar talk and unfortunately he was murdered doing what he loved to do and that is a shame and a half rest in peace my brother.
