we saw them in Detroit in Nov and it was cathartic to say the least. But beyond that, the level of energy in the crowd, the level of musicianship from Zakk and Rex, but the two who really surprised me were Phil and Charlie. Phil sounds as good as he did mid-90's. You can tell that he feels the magic they made in these songs and he brings it. Those are the songs of his youth. There's so much vinegar. He is transported. And Charlie. Vinnie's groove is so under appreciated, so overshadowed and overlooked. Charlie has nailed so much of his nuance. It may not be Pantera, but especially when you are in the arena, you close your eyes, and its like being in a time machine.

Zakk’s brain must be like a library of riffs. Even with rehearsals he’s constantly playing shows with different bands. To keep up with that much material is impressive in itself (not to mention the intricacies of Dime’s guitar playing).

51 here and I'm catching this show in 10 days in KC. I had those exact feelings last year when all the shows started hitting youtube. I'm a drummer as well and Pantera has always been one of my top 3 favorite bands. Anthrax is also top 3. Charlie my favorite and most inspirational drummer. Anything Zakk does is gold. The opportunity to see both Charlie and Zakk, together playing this material is an opportunity of a life time. I saw Pantera many times over the years and hearing this songs live again has been significant too me personally!

The last time I saw Pantera was during their 1996 tour, which also featured White Zombie and Eye Hate God. I was only 14 years old at the time, back when metal bands frequently visited Miami. Fast forward to today, I had the opportunity to take my little boy to see Pantera with me, which was a deeply memorable experience. Thank you for uploading this concert. CFH 4 LIFE!

I saw that tour in Worcester Mass. 96. But it wasnt Eyehategod at the show I went to, it was DEFTONES. Apparently the tours alternated the openers. White Zombie was cool, crucifird monsters hangin from the rigging and all... Ah, to go back in time. Aint no goin back is there? Shit.

Went to this show since I never got to see Pantera in their prime. It was one of the best concert experiences of my life. I was in the back, lower bowl, dead center but high enough that I had a perfect view of the show. Phil sounded great, Rex held it down as always, and Zakk and Charlie did Dime and Vinnie proud. I was on my feet rocking out from the moment they took the stage, even at 44 this stuff takes me back to my teenage years. Lmao, woke up the next day with headbangers neck lmao. Totally worth it. Got myself a tour shirt as well to commemorate the night. If they ever come back I'll be there for sure.

I will be seeing them in 48 hrs in KY and its been 24-27 yrs since i seen the original lineup and spoke with dimebag. Im so happy that these guys sound as good as they do and i wouldn't want anyone else besides them. Im soo looking forward to this and thanks for the video. CFH forever and rest in peace to Abbott brothers. And onw more thing, much respect to Phil, no where since they started this tribute, have i seen him talk about himself. As someone who also suffers from chronic back pain and being a metal head, i can see what Phil is going through to take care of his back during the performance. Good on him for still truckin hard though. And he sounds so much better! His voice is in top tier for his age and wear and tear. He took this project serious and wanted to redeem himself with the brothers. Can't wait to see them in August myself!

I saw these guys in 1997,I went to the Ozzfest in Denver with a free ticket. I didn’t really know many of the bands but I went just to get out. This is probably the loudest I’ve ever heard a band play ever in my life,the guitar player’s hair looked like a windmill. I wasn’t familiar with any of their songs.
