This is a fan made video for the track ''Planet Caravan'' from the band ''Pantera'' found in their seventh album entitled ''Far Beyond Driven'' released on March 22, 1994 through East West Records.
Originally the song was released in 1970 by Black Sabbath and can be found in their 1970 second album ''Paranoid'' released through the label Vertigo.
All rights belong to their respective owners

First song I heard when I woke up after being kicked out of the house at the age of 15. This song brings back so many heartbreaking memories, yet I can't stop reminiscing on the fear and sense of calm all at the same time. This song will forever be burned in the center of my soul for all eternity.

I found this song to be a good emotional release when I lose something close to me precious like a pet or a loved one or close friend in the past. When my Uncle passed on some years ago, I was at home in my college days and heard this song, and the feeling of this song, was very universal that it was like I could imagine my uncle going to a new world with no pain, as depicted in this video. The song is so genius and brillant and one of my favorites of Pantera.

brodisius I do!!! I fell 20 feet landing on my tailbone breaking my back in two places, causing Spinal cord damage at age 17 I'm 39 now so I lived with some major pain for over 20 damn years now!!!, and I can only put weight on my heals as my calf mussels are paralyzed!!! each year gets harder and harder to live with my body!!!!! when I was a teen I did so much stuff with ease!!! you try living with pain from a major injury like mine!!!, its a living hell!!!!!!!!!!!! , then I smoke a hit of weed and forget it all when I listen to this stoned!!!!!!!!!!!

Most of my friends disagree on this but i prefer both versions (Black Sabbath's & Pantera's) as per my mood lol. Pantera's vocals are a little more firm whereas Sabbath's more psychedelic.

I love how this song throws you into the cosmic, universal. It is neutral in feeling and that feels awesome. I keep coming back to this song all the time and it is more cosmic than the original imho. It makes you feel humbled by being part of this megasized space, and also important for belonging to this grand-scheme.

Hello Ushas. I love this song also. But the lyrics following “yours,” that you posted, I hope you can clarify them for me. So following your lyrics, it continues, “a purple place, of saffron haze.” OR “ a purple place of sapphire haze. If you look up the lyrics, it says “sapphire”. But in both pantera and black sabbath it sounds like saffron haze to me. What do you think?
