Well, I was the same, I mean Dime and Vinnie were not really on speaking terms w/ Phil cuz his "issues" I feel like the kind of did a dis service. Pantera IS Diamond Darryl and Vinnie Paul, so IDK it just felt like Phil sat around and in the end is making mad loot from the band he destroyed. However, I know Zakk is one a Dimes best friends so he was the best option and Charlie is doing Vinnie justice. I feel a little better, not that anyone cares how I feel, but I think DD and VP family might not have felt it was a good idea. That being said I saw them at Katinas Nightclub in Hadley Ma for CFH in like 90? w like 600 people, then again for FBDriven w/ Sepultura at 2nd act and BioHazard openeing. Awesome show. One of the best breakdowns in music history, up there w/ Creeping Death Die, Die, Die part is Sepultura Dead Embryonic Cells w/ Max playing the E riff, the whole place went from dead silent and standing still to everyone jumping together when the drums came in. Best seen live, never to be seen again.
I was at this concert!!! Lost my voice for a week cause I screamed so hard!!!! Best concert of my fuckin life!!!!! 41 year old, 5'1 woman here.... 😝😝😝😝😝😝😝I was shoved and pushed, only regret not being in the first row... I was a few rows back next to the mosh pit!!! It was insane, best concert of my life😂😂😂😂😂😂I would go today again if I could!!!!! Long live pantera😂😂😂😂😂
@@j-sin3344I don’t think Phil is making “made loot” off of this….. just think, the whole Pantera family is getting paid to bring this music to the masses again….. no one denies that Vinnie and Dime were the heart of Pantera…… will I go see this? No…. Does this mean I hate this? No….. I am happy that they are doing this…..
I love Zakk because he carries a trademark, so he's not just covering Pantera, nor replacing Dime; he's being Zakk, with his sound and style, playing Pantera songs in a brutal way.
Seeing Sepultura in 1992 I. Melbourne as a 17 year old was my first international band, Pantera in 1994 at Festival Hall in Melbourne at the same place as Sepultura was great early memories of live foreign metal bands
I saw them June of '94 as well. Somewhere in MA. Incredibly insane concert. The energy and sound of Dimebag and Vinnie was untouchable. Long live Pantera!
@@AJ-wu5ru Great Woods Mansfield, MA... That’s the show I was at too! The crowd was so out of control it became general admission& seats were getting ripped out of the concrete. I had one of Dime’s picks from that show but it got stolen, but I still have the Sepultura bandana & ticket stub from that night. I also have Pantera’s entire set on cassette tape of that night!

Huge metal fan since 82 but sepultura soulfly caverella conspiracy not to mention Dino from fear factory. I love the southern love because let's all Mosh in the pit and friends. Like Exodus some good friendly violent fun while our favorite band is playing or many bands. I'm old I remember doing shots with somebody they had to go get on stage and they were playing for Exodus are blondies in Detroit 7 and telegraph

I use to live in phx Az, I can’t tell you how many times I ran into Max Calavera and every time he was the nicest guy. Work with local kids on music. Just a great guy!

It's nice zac plays tribute to his fallen brother. Life is strange and anything can happen in a heartbeat. R.I.P Darrell and Vinny. You fellas were on the top shelf and will always be missed by us fans. We lost so much but are thankful for the raw energy you guys left for us to enjoy at the click of a button. Rock on Zak.

I saw Pantera in 1995. Dang things have changed. If you got anywhere close to that stage, you took out any body peircings you had.... and those cameras would be indistinguishable from the cigarette ashes in the floor.
This was amazing , mighty Max Cavalera on the stage ❤ You were so lucky. I saw them in Budapest, in a club not a stadium and I was so lucky to see Zakk....but Max 🤘
Também lá estive! O som estava muito mau, o que é normal no MEO Arena, mas na plateia não estava mal. Uma pena, porque os artistas deram tudo! O ambiente foi TOP! Uma coisa que gostei de ver foram os imensos estrangeiros que vieram assistir ao festival! Estive ao pé de um fantástico Irlandês que vibrou imenso (hoje o gajo não se mexe 🤣)! 🤘
I don't know why it's funny to me how Phil is onstage with Max and like some months ago he was with the "New" Sepultura. Mostly because i expected max to cry about the sepultura name like always
I heard a lot of people complaining that Zakk didn’t sound very good. What I just heard was him nailing not just Dime’s riffs and solo, but his tone as well.
I just saw them 8/17 in Houston and Zakk nailed every song with his own flare on the solos and it sounded super clean. These videos don't do the sound any justice. It's much better in person. I was very impressed on how tight these guys were and how good they sounded! Lamb of God blew the fucking roof off the place as well!!!
