You have a very healthy approach to all your eyeshadow projects. I totally agree that the best eyeshadows to try to pan are the ones you would be sad to neglect if you weren’t trying to pan them.

I'm very much an organic use kinda gal. I've still never hit pan on an eyeshadow because I just love to rotate through them so much. But when it comes to cheek products I tend to enjoy having more focused products and goals.

I don't think it's a bad idea to keep a shade or two in the palette to finish. Though you would actually need shades that are close to being finished. Edit: I cant believe I didn't say how pretty your look is! Obsessed.

I'm doing a pan that palette full of shades I want to completely use up, some have pan, some I've barely used but am trying to use up anyway! I'm trying to get some of my older shades out of my collection as well as crumbly shades that are making a mess in my palettes. I think I will only be buying singles from now on unless it's a palette for my kit. I do monthly goals, for this month I want to use every shade twice and hit 3 pans, i hit two yesterday! I only have 8 more pans left to hit now

I usually have goals for the month to focus on like for example this month I wanted to finish my cream shade from my CT quad and I have already. I also have goals for project level up and then I am trying to rotate through my singles. The new rotation of shades is so fun to me I have already rotated out one and I think if I do a singles look tomorrow I can rotate out another 2. My goal is to have enough points for the pans I have bought - I have some work to do to get to 42 but I am half way there so if I plug away at different palettes and projects it will happen in no time. Since project level up the palette is all warm more fiery orange tones I want to contrast it with pinks and purples. I think you may have a couple pans and a couple empties next time good progress already for sure!

Im doing a pan that palette this year (continuing from last year) and I'm VERY structured with my goals. This year I'm picking two shadows to focus on, and I have to hit one or two pans before I move on to work on other projects. (2 pans in jan 1 in feb ext.) I love to have a plan going into something, even if I dont always stick to it.

I love your eye look on this video! I have three PTP I'm working on. I'm aiming to finish one, hit pan in every shade in one, and hit pan on half the shades in one. My method is to figure out my 80%. I have a rule for myself when decluttering where if I can't see myself using 80% of the shades, it either gets decluttered or depotted. With my PTP, I find my 80% that i plan to pan, and will either completely chuck the shades i don't want to use or leave them in if i like them enough i may want to use them. However, for my main PTP this year, I'll be aiming to finish every shade and I'm starting with my least favourites since i like everything enough i don't want to declutter anything. I've already finished my least favourite shade (i started on the palette in November as practically brand new) and have pan in the next one I'd like to finish, although it's a bright blue, and we are in winter so i may not kick myself if it takes a while.

I spy a cute kitty 😻. That's blue and yellow look is stunning🥰 yay for a pan... And i think glass bowl is going to be empty 🤞🤞 the gold would be a pretty nail polish.
