@@Gee-bg2rvnot harder than day 1. Pantheon has surges and class warfare buff. Regular contest also has more enemies spawning, im pretty sure. This is the best practice available to get ready for a day 1 scenario though.
@@ghanaria7996regular contest is the exact same as normal, aside from the light level difference. The pantheon has more enemies and modified encounter mechanics. The surges and the shot caller buff make it a bit more manageable, but pantheon nezarec is way harder than contest nez
Got the Seal done today. Pantheon has got to be the most fun I’ve ever had in destiny. Truly the most rewarding activity in destiny history, and it has the coolest limited title ever: Godslayer. What a W from Bungie!
@@thermalrain_yt9725Definitely sucks if you’re tied up for the month or can’t do it for whatever reason. But the overall concept is one of the biggest W’s Bungie’s ever released. Fortunately for me, I’ve got the time and the dedication. They need to make more limited time things like this. Something for the Elites only lol
The thing i love about Frost is shit got real negative on Nez, alot of wipes and Frost just kept trying to lift the mood. Nothing worse than when your team just gives up mentally
Man the joy of finally beating Nezarec after days of pain and suffering was absolutely unreal. When Pantheon first started all I cared about was getting my Conditional Finality. I wasn't sure if I was going to bother with week 4, but I didn't really have anything else to do so I was like screw it. Then when I was getting close to acquiring the emblem I started to realise why they're so sort after. Now that I have it, it's most likely never coming off.
I notice and respect that Cross is not only locked in, but not giving useless, unnecessary comms. He's just focused on what he needs to do and telling his team what they need to know and when they need to know it. Nothing else. So much pointless chatter in the background. Our team got stuck on Rhulk way too long, but cleared Riven on our SECOND attempt. It's funny how Riven ended up being the easiest encounter. Nezarec was just chaotic as hell during damage. Overall I really enjoyed Pantheon. It's pretty much everything I wanted from an all-encompassing raid experience. It was a fair challenge. I couldn't be more proud of my team and all of us getting Godslayer. It was a delight. Congrats to everyone else who earned their title too.
I wouldn’t say it’s all fair the tormentors really made some encounters super unfun and I know you can somewhat deal with them but putting tormentors to make some part unnecessary like tormentors not despawning during oryx and atraks damage phase constantly spamming you with suppress and launching you left to right
NOTHING I HATE MORE than unnecessary callouts I'm EXACTLY like cross silent until i NEED to say something. I'm not clogging comms by saying, for example, "swapping to lucky pants". That could cause someone to not hear an ACTUAL callout. Now instead of shooting acorns on caretaker they just know what build you have on.
Meanwhile during that first encounter someone in there was STRESSING for them to do whatever they were doing faster. Like bro, chill the F out. It's the first encounter.
Seriously?? And who was that as every boss had 3 or 4 never ending yappers calling shit iut like "using healing nade" " using class ability" swap to thus do that....only bro that was playing the game....you know the same bosses that's been farmed for 4 years now was aztecross. Group I run with was in and out in an hour and was damn near silent minus callouts and discussing geopolitics. These people try to make it sound all serious and shit like a day 1....seems more to scare players so they sit and swoon on thier channels begging for carries instead of playing the video game.
@@GigglesD2 the core of your point is great but you're also taking something too seriously lol. These people are entertainers so they're gonna ham everything up
I ran every week with LFG and did not have 1 singular issue. These raids have been on farm mode for years...these streamers are like the bs reality TV shows....making everything appear to be all serious and dramatic when by the way it's a VIDEO GAME.
@@GigglesD2 you talk like you’re some special underdog for completing it lol. if it’s a video game stop being so pissy about streamers playing it
I was a pretty casual player, did a raid hear and there. I got burnt out and stopped playing 2 years ago but came back for Into the Light. I've had a ton of fun with Pantheon and wish it wasn't going anywhere. I want that title!
I would never want my team like this. The people are yapping non stop and calling out every little thing. Like bro, we do not care if you are reloading your gun, clear comms
@@pahaninYTi agree. Only cross and lana were chill. There was like 3 guys trying to be the shotcaller, like so annoying. And they have to keep repeating each other. They should have agreed who was gonna be shotcalling. In my raid team we have 1 main shotcaller, doesn’t matter who it is, just one is enough. It’s like these guys all have mc egos and try to talk over each other. Im glad cross wasn’t like that tho.
This week my LFG team beat Riven the first time we got her to the third floor which was surprising cause it took like an hour and half to get her there. But that fight's difficulty definitly got overhyped over the years, I wish more people did it legit because it is a cool fight.
Love the bait and switch rotation on oryx for that nasty hidden whisper damage buff lol. Good job dude, wish my team was competent with these encounters like you guys I feel like I’m the only one doing shit and always having to call out timings
@@modock56 yeah dude totally, it’s so simple….like if your infant is still crawling and not walking why don’t I just show them that you can stand and walk and they get it instantly. If you’ve played this game for years I shouldn’t have to teach you shit when it comes to simply doing damage and staying alive, those are basics it’s like breathing and eating.
Wow....can't count can we? BnS is not hard and not new. You worship these kids playing a game for profit and making people think it's difficult. All this video shows is how they over dramatize everything. These raids have been on farm mode for years and pantheon has been running now for weeks. This is nothing new and definitely not difficult. Simply tell players what to do before and do it. Every boss is damn near the exact same callouts.
I like how many times clyde is reminding soneone of a callout, someone clutters comms with "relax relax" or "calm down" Clyde has more patience then most people I know
Dude have you ever played with a full group of 5 randoms in lfg?? People get absolutely CRAZY in the comms. Like nonsense and bitching the entire time. Someone has to keep the kids quiet 💀
man seeing riven done legit and not being a pushover is such a nice thing. i remember doing riven legit on the first week of the raid coming out, and since then ive never done it again... i have not touched pantheon once yet as i dont really play d2 much anymore, but now i want to come back just to do riven legit again.
I told my team to sacrifice someone to nez in a well. They told me we would hit the sacrificed guardian instead of nez. We were there for 6 hours and didn’t clear him. I was pissed watching this
SO crazy to watch this when Cross just doesn't hardly talk at all. 0 shade, it's just a funny juxtaposition vs a normal vid to see him just quietly sitting there playing xD
Bungie: We made the hardest strike. player: how? Bungie: We nerfed weapons and supers, again. The most spectacular thing is the infinite number of enemy spawns.
My team honestly got our kill with Lament x3 Wells lmao, just chained them on bottom, and it actually worked somehow? We just couldn’t get Hatred for DPS I guess
Cross can you make a long form video about the different loadouts different roles should use for each encounter of sublime? It would be really helpful for a lot of people I’m sure.
Most of these are annoying af entitled brats that devs cater the game to. I have 8k hours at this game, I'm not even a top 1% player but I have enough skill to endure solo content and Day 1 contests. But I have to go through the LFG hell every single time because let's be clear. Pantheon and any similar activity is tailor-made for these people.
This makes me want to raid so bad but as a solo player that doesn’t understand every single raids mechanics it’s hard to find ppl on lfg or even the in game fireteam finder that wana teach or even have patience for some one like me :(
I always wish I had the patience to do stuff like this. My skin is just not thick enough to handle the frustration. lol Its ok though, if everyone could do it, it wouldn't be cool.
BUNGIE: fixes Nezarec cheese. Players: Immediately cheese him another way. Honestly I think that Nezzy change should be in the raid, seems like it adds at least some extra effort, and pist well-nerf, it'll be even harder. Also, did they fix the Riven cheese for pantheon.
Us normal folk? Wtf kinda shit is that? These people are nothing but simps playing a video game as a job spending all day figuring out ways to over dramatize every little thing to the point people actually think destiny is difficult. These raids have been out for years and only subtle changes were done. Any group that is even close to competent can run this...I did entire pantheon on lfg and never had any issues. If they did the original raid they knew how to do this
Pantheon was an incredible experience and one I'm truly happy to have participated in! My clan and I rocked and rolled through all four weeks, and it was one of the most enlightening and enjoyable experiences I've had since entering the raiding community in D2. Week 1 took us 27 minutes 7 seconds. Week 2 took us 43 minutes 44 seconds. Week 3 took us 1 hour and 33 minutes. Week 4 took us 2 hour 51 minutes. I loved the increased challenge week-to-week and thoroughly enjoyed the modifiers. I wasn't a fan of the timer, but overall Pantheon needs to come back annually for other players who may have missed out can try and get it and those that got Godslayer can guild it! And if anyone is looking for a solid, tight-knit clan (we have 16 members), let me know! We aim towards high-end PvE content (low-man raids/speed runs/solo flawless content/etc), so if that's what you're into let me know!
@@Sypitzya planets was the hardest for my team too. Mainly the fire tornadoes eating up all our revives. People need to stay in the well for first 2 plates, and as soon as fire tornadoes spawn for third, you rush away.
Finished it like 15 minutes ago with basically LFG team lol. One best experiences in destiny, and yes I am fully aware that majority of destiny´s community will not be able to get the title. But man..this is exactly what destiny needs. Prestige titles, prestige emblems, stuff to chase. Really one of the best things bungie gave us
Sweatlords still complaining about Nezzy just need to go ahead and find something else to play because what they want genuinely can't be fun. It was a great upgrade.
