Why did you speed up the footage

I'll take the BSA twin over the Panther single. Twins run smoother. Plus the exposed valves and the cool exhaust pipes make it a real "head turner".

I actually owned a B S A 250cc exactly like this one in 1957. It was great and so reliable.

I think that BSA might be the type my father had in the 1940s. Around the same time, he also had a Rudge 250 and finally an Ariel 500. He loved them all but I think the Rudge was his favourite. These two are beautiful bikes.

i can live with twin exhaust ports, i read of inadequate steel quality for just one, but why anyone would use hand gear change is a mystery.

wish i had bought a Panther when they were affordable, got an A10 from 59 (stolen in London) then a T110 which i sold in 78. Love British bikes.

Beautifully restored machines! Haven't heard a better idle than a Panther's.

THe other week I was offerd a 1937 Panther 250cc with 12 months MOT for £2000. Is that a good price for them? I was thinking of offering £1800.
