I was thinking, today, “if someone travelled forward from the 20s to early 40s and suddenly found themselves in the 2020s, this might be a good song to ease them into things”. In my language we actually have an expression called "kalsarikännit", which actually translates to underwear-drunk. And this song describes it perfectly: getting comfy at home in your undies getting drunk. 🤣

I seem to remember that when UK found out about our word, they immediately translated it to pants-drunk. PS. I'm assuming it's UK, because they use pants instead of underwear for kalsarit

Actually it really is a Finnish thing. The Finnish have a word describing drunk at home or drinking at home by yourself in your underwear and that word is kalsarikänni, which when translated literally actually means pants drunk.
