I have seen it live for my first time last week in Milano. I had some listen to a couple of songs in the past but I can definitely say that I really met Paolo last Saturday. I have seen many live shows in my life, big shows, Pink Floyd, Sting, Peter Gabriel, James Taylor, Dire Straits…well…well this has been the most breathtaking live I have ever seen. It changed my view of the music. As a guitar player and singer I have received the most powerful music message I could imagine, by Paolo and of course by all the gorgeous band behind him. He is a shining talent, an extraordinary voice and a composer with no equals at the moment. That show changed a part of my life. I can’t stop thinking at him and listening to his music.
The man does no social media, no interviews, rarely releases albums and is still amazing and he has been since 2006 when his little acoustic videos came out. Has an all time level voice
@@ThomasAholaMusic ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-uRA4JEtETNs.html There was a few of these, may be slightly off on the year but yeah I remember being 13/14ish and seeing these amazing
@@ThomasAholaMusic they are scattered over YT, for example this one ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-uRA4JEtETNs.html it was a 3/4 track public 'demo' for his first (then upcoming) album
This is amazing, just flowin through tunes flawlessly, perfect city, perfect crowd, someone send me a ticket to Scotland asap, I sent a pic to my mate in states a of the cone on georges heed, he txt back, was that you. Unreal. I said wise up, its Glasgow. So we need 2 tickets as hes coming over.
@@alext2566 He just announced a North America Tour!!! I’ve been showing all my family and friends, now they’re all in love with him! I know his newest album did pretty good here in the states as far as recognition. Little by little his big presence will also be felt in North America.
So happy to see Paolo again. And happy to see all the comments. As a 50+ black woman who loves ALL the music that has shaped my life, I have to admit Paolo has stolen my heart over the years. Am blessed to have experienced this level of talent again...he is absolutely amazing. Makes me smile...every single time I hear his beautiful voice.
"Sometimes, it feels like you're everywhere" I'm not sure if it's love or loss that gets me when he sings this, but by God it gets me. I've been waiting my whole life for Everywhere.
This man is a legendary talent. Words cannot express how wonderfully positive and beautiful as well as deeply moving his music is . He is a brilliant shining light in this otherwise dark world. Let us always try to shine a light like he does no matter what the world brings. Nothing can bring us down. Peace Paolo we love you! So awesomely refreshing and great!
I'm a Scot, I lived in France when Sunny Side Up Came out, and no one knew. Now I live in England, and it's Ben Harper, Bloodline Maintenance. My dream collaboration, spread the word, Paolo Nutini and Ben Harper ♥️
I've been around a wee while longer than most of you guys and I honestly can say that there are very, very few talents in the last fifty years who rank alongside Paolo. Treasure him and hope that long may he continue. Beautiful, wonderful, a joy, simply a joy. And he can sing a bit, too.
I feel the same. His talent across musical genres is untouchable. This man is an absolute stellar artist. We are beyond blessed to live and appreciate this Paolo experience. 🙏💫💞
This new version of Candy is Gold. I saw him in November, and like the ladies when the song began I make the same faces, for chord changes. He is a Rock-pop God. Thank god he is back.
Sadly the crowd this day were fucking awful, at least where I was stood. Load of mostly kids who didn’t know the songs n just chatted all the way through the set. Was a real setback to an otherwise superb set. Not one to slag off a proper Glasgow audience though, I love the city and the all the gigs I’ve seen there, this one included
Took me a couple of times to get into the new album but its actually his best work imo.....he's clearly getting away from the poppy tracks like pencil full of lead great as they were .....the new tracks are definitely festival ready all day long amazing musicianship and very clever his voice is just outstanding..... he's a far more accomplished songwriter than gets credit for....this.TRNSMT show is excellent...just listen to they vocals
I think he's tuning into poppier/indie songs. Radio, acid eyes, petrified of love, etc are quite bland. Would have benefitted more soul from his second album. Everywhere is definitely my favourite from his new LP
I think it's better if you have to listen to an album a few times to get into it, as if you immediately love all the songs you get bored of them just as quick. But that's just my experience. You definitely can't describe Paolo's music to somebody who's never heard him, he's constantly changing on each album. Thank God he's back. I had given up looking for decent music, he's a breath of fresh air.
@@_-LK-_ It's probably just my ears but Petrified In Love reminds me of something Tom Petty would have sung. And the intro to Desperation sounds just like Don Henley's Boys Of Summer.
Saw him at Ally Pally about this time. I remember thinking the first song sounded like early Hawkwind and the next one he's definitely channeling Bon Scott, not Plant. Another of Glasgows favourite sons. First time I'd seen him and I've been going to gigs since 1975. I was impressed enough that when my wife suggested we go to Latitude to see him I agreed. And I'm way too old to do a three day festival. Great again though
Watch this performance regularly. Seeing him next June for the first time 16 years loving him. Now the people in the audience with their back to him chatting make me mad I would love ❤️ to have been there. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Everywhere! I haven’t fully digested the lyrics and somehow this song hits deep! The voice and the music is indescribable. Not the first time Paolo leaves me speechless.
It's so hard for Asian fans to witness this amazing musician in a live setting like this... I hope I get to watch Paolo live one day. It would be truly magical.
This is an amazing performance. This man does every music style. So gracefully. I especially love Paolo enjoying the end of Stranded Words... he looks proud and full of joy. And he should be. As should we. Peace and blessings to all you beautiful souls.✌️💕💋
iI adore the way paolo continuously reworks the sound of his music as the decades go on. The last show i saw at Teenage Cancer trust he completely changed the arrangement of all of his major hits. It was epic and this show is epic :)
Caledonia should be our national anthem. Flower of Scotland is outdated and tbh sucks. Caledonia is about the love of our country and not the hate of another country
Am discovering this guy and he's truly good. And his band is having a great time, and that's pure alchemy / positive feedback. Must try to see him live.
Oh, he’s just so amazing! I feel unbelievably blessed to be seeing him three times this year (At Liam Gallagher’s Knebworth gig, Victorious Festival then his own gig in Birmingham). His voice and lyrics touch my soul; I’ve needed him ❤️
Bravo Paolo e bentornato con la nuova LP "Last night in the Bittersweet". He has come a long way since the days he would be putting salt and vinegar on my chips from his dad's cafe in Paisley. A Paisley / Barga boy just like me!
What a great gig! Paolo still has it all in spades, so talented, and his voice! His amazing band deserves a big mention too. Thank you so much for putting this up.
I think his first album These Streets along with Last Request was how the record company wanted him to sound, but he seems to want to distance himself from that album and if he does sing Last Request it's a different tempo musically. Which I'm kinda glad about as Last Request was playing when my dog was put to sleep. So, as much as I love it, I can't listen to it.😢
Triumphant return!! Everywhere, Acid Eyes, Radio, Lose It, Through the Echoes, and Shine a Light were standouts.🐐 I've changed my mind on Petrified in Love, but Heart filled up is now the only blemish on this nearly flawless album.
Such a beautiful performance from mr Nutini himself.. was an absolute pleasure being there. Looking forward to seeing him again in Dec 🥰💞 can't actually believe he's finally back in action. About time 😁😁😁 loving the new album
This Man is Amazing Live, Can't believe me & the wife couldn't get tickets.... but this will do nicely!!! Thanks for putting this Amazing Night on.... Happy Days
I'm litterally clapping my hands in my face for not having managed to get a ticket for any of his next gigs. Paolo is like Quentin Tarantino: every time i watch/listen to new stuff i think "that's the best work of his" till the next one, a permanent improvement.
I'm so glad I kept hitting the refresh button and not giving up and got a ticket to see him in Manchester in October :D I'm just hoping he doesn't disappear again :(
@@shyannedianne1962 Well done, I would've loved to see him in Manchester that Is a special Place for me. So, I Hope you'll enjoy the Gigi, I'm sure It Will be amazing and I'm also sure he won't disappear :)
@@john-wick101 nope, they went sold out within minuts, now an extra show's just been added but I can't take days out of work during the week. Maybe it's just not meant to be. Anyway lucky them Who got the ticket and I'm anyway truly happy for all the sold out, it's well deserved
