Paolo Nutini Performs Jenny Don't Be Hasty Live At Glastonbury Festival 2007.I LOVE the way the band build it up at the start and the way Paolo does the intro!
He sounds so much better when he’s performing in his homeland and w a bigger audience, Brilliant voice 💕💕💕 Glad I had a chance to see him perform in NYC ❤️❤️
Best build upto a song I have heard in a long time, it was awsome when he sung this at glastonbury this year too. I bet Jenny is regretting dumping him now!!
Absolutely. His recorded voice and his live voice are very different. I like him because he puts on a good show. He doesn't hang all over the mic to hold himself up - he uses it to be doing something other than just standing there. He always hunches over, closes his yes, sings with a lot of emotion, and his voice isn't a trained voice. He says so in an interview. That's him and you either love him or hate him. If you hate him then don't watch!!!
great version. Check out 2:07--he forgets where he is in the song, and you can see him grin and the guitarist smile...just makes it real. Love his music.
don't be fooled...he is neither drunk nor stoned. He is playing a part. At the beginning of the second verse, he is off track in his place...there is a slight chuckle, and his bandmates shoot a grin...the camera goes back to Paolo who has an embarrassed smirk on his face, but he continues exactly as he should. Drunk or stoned, he would not have caught it or cared. He is playing the drunk stoner to his audience. He's an entertainer, folks...he is entertaining the audience.
watch paolo takes on america (part3), it explains why he sings like that. he's young, it's something he's working on. when he sings the song, he thinks about what the song means, when he does that he closes his eyes. maybe he gets embarassed staring at people with his eyes shut..
