Exactly right. This voice was the same when he was that young boy coming through. You can't pin him down to one type of music. I first listened to him back in 2006 I think. This was on a chat show in the UK, my jaw dropped open. The best thing about him. Is that the guy showing the video never even heard of him. That is Paolo in a nut shell. He is a rather shy guy.
There's truly not a song that Paolo has released that isn't TRULY PERFECT. Going back through his discography each of his 4 albums are so different from each other but all so amazing and beautiful. Enjoy everything Paolo has to offer you.

One of the most blues of the gravel blues voices. Scot/ Italian. His life turned around from about 18 yo! Mega mega British chart scores. So many UK “No. One pop” hits . I feel this direction is a mix of “ Iron Sky” and “Last Request.” His rabbit hole is long and deep!! Beware.❣️ His live version of Etta James’ “ I’d rather go blind” is extraordinary🥲✅ I find it the best out of all I’ve ever heard! He vocals hit the same vertical and horizontal range as Etta James. You weep your heart out. ( on You Tube set in a church - acoustics are mad 4.2 million views) I knew you would like him because you get John Farnham. Similar range and power - but hugely different senses. ( maybe a couple of tones down from JF highest register) He started mega hit maker. Then took himself down off the scene, lived and played in Italy, set up studios in Paisley ( Scotland)and played only his choices. Now he’s back. 35yo. Big tour next year. Also has extraordinary band. .
Totally agree with the Etta James comment,would even say its better than the original,but paolo would say different. As you said none of his 4 albums are even remotely like the one before.insanely talented.

2022 has been the best year in recent memory and Paolo coming back from a 5 year hiatus is one reason why. He was amazing when he debuted at 19 and now at 35, he's better than ever.
Guys paolo has released 4 albums but is not really one for the spotlight.he is a Scottish legend.check out iron sky at Abbey Road studios,in my opinion one of the best songs EVER written.
I second all these recommendations from Paolo plus. "autumn " a song for his grandfather and "let me down easy" either abbey road or loft recording. You can't go wrong with any of his back catalogue though 👌

Oh please do a deep dive into Paolo (prn: pow-lo) Nutini even privately and not on screen (though I’m sure your reaction would be great to see!), you will not regret it in the slightest. He’s a underrated Scottish gem (as am I 🏴😂) and he needs so much recognition.

Paolo Nutini born Paisley, Scotland. I fall in love with his music back in 2006 with 'These Streets' followed by 'Last Request', please keep digging, you will not be disappointed with his music.

I love Paulo ... I love his album 'Sunny side up' too. There's every genre there. It's like he just found a chest with his father's record collection in it and decided to do each style.
Pawlo is more the way to say it. His companies do copyright pretty heavy, but I expect they intend these previews to be shared and reviewed. There's tons of fanvids from concerts though, which get copyrighted less I think. so glad to see reactors giving him some attention, he's well worth listening to. His life is going pretty well I think. He's just famous enough, bought him and his parents nice houses in their hometown, brings out an album and tours around for a couple years, then hides away and does his own thing for a while 4 or 5 years.

You need to listen to some of his live performances to realize the level of this artist. Like pinkpop in 2014 or listen to some of the cover he made. By the way he's out with a new album and touring Europe. Listen to his performance in Rome
