So I'm not the only one who bounces my knee up and down when I play? lol I was trying to teach my friend how to do the basics and he's like "Do I have to look like I need to pee?" xD
I've always wondered about the foot thing some people its a bouncing knee i didnt know why until i noticed mine is my head it sways or bobs to the rhythm i guess its a subconscious thing
almost every musician does it. whether they play clarinet, trombone, chello, or guitar, they do it to count time so they know if they're rushing or dragging the tempo.
To be honest it seems a bit pointless.. how is bouncing your knee make it easier to keep tempo? your brain controls the movement of your foot just like the movement of your hands.. so why does giving your brain an extra task make it easier to keep count?
Everyone who says this sucks, just keep it to yourself. It doesn't matter if it is complicated or not. She put dedication and passion into this, that's what matters.

KordanIm you mean you will give up as soon as you find someone who actually likes what you do? that's weird. I thing the main criteria in personal development is not liking what you do. You may think that yeah, I'm better than a month\year ago, but still Im not that good. I must work harder and harder over my fails. If you think you already play so good that people on youtube must see it - u're done and never will be any significantly better.
It's been a while now! - Almost 14 years. I still remember the day this video was uploaded, still an amazing video, Nora. WeKnowTheTruth2012 This is the only vid ive seen of her, but your talking a different level of skill. Comparing this song only, like I said, I havent seen her vids. My first 2 weeks of playing, Id play this stuff. I tried to tab metallica-one and almost pulled my hair out.
WOW! That was incredible! I loved how when you messed up at parts you would laugh at yourself and keep playing like nothing ever happened :) That's what I wish I could do, but I'm a perfectionist when it come to playing my guitar. Again, great job!
hi I am glad you are recording. also that is awesome seeing you shred on the guitar. it is a fast one. I wanted to learn to play one .but never did so I started to learn to play the organ. and am still rocking one. at home and at school. also playing concerts.
For the very first guitar cover I've heard of this song, I think she did alright. Her performance wasn't that good, however, she paused during some parts of the song and it kinda ruins the quality of the cover, but I don't think she was even taking this song seriously, which is just fine. She probably does this as a hobby for her free time, nothing wrong with that. There's no rules on RU-vid saying you must upload 100% serious videos and put the very best quality in them. Overall I'd give her a 6/10, enjoyed the sound, would have rated higher if she played the entire song without pauses. Only noticed a few sour notes with my ear but I'm not a guitar expert so I don't know if she's good or not.
yeah she's decent i agree. it's hard to be called "great" at guitar to be honest. I do play well myself but people compare people to the professionals a lot so we're never awesome at guitar but just average. yes it takes a lot of practice to play this song i took a good week but you aren't considered really great until you can shred and create your own solos inside the cover. when i post they always tell me to amp it up and put solos in there. i am still learning to shred it's kinda tough but once you learn that your skill level will increase 100% so yeah 6/10 good cover though to play for friends.
SHE IS GOOD everyone butthurt cuz they suck but this girl is really good she is like playing a somewhat hard song especcially if u have small hands XD and just doing it like its nothing
Sollux Captor it's more of an intermediate song than anything, I've been nearly playing a year and find it easy to learn and play, but I have to focus. She can do this in her sleep hah.
ya im a new guitar without lessons and basically im just learning easy songs on the internet and im used to ukulele so i dont use a pick so this song for me was very hard and i then realised it wasnt super hard
Sollux Captor this is actually the second song I ever learned it is extremely easy, to be fair if you dont play guitar it LOOKS hard but its very repetative and very very easy
Give me a camera and a decent microphone and I'll give it to you. :) Honestly you can criticize even if you don't play the guitar (I do) you can tell a good one from a bad one if you are experienced in music OR have a good musical ear and good vision I.E when someone almost misses notes miss picks etc.

This is ridciulous the way people just see an average looking girl playing guitar and think they're fucking amazing! She even made a few mistakes but still people praise her... There are a lot more deserving people out there
You're just like the rest of them, trying to justify a point you make by her LOOKS of all things. This is just a girl who loves music, is proud of her own playing, and wants to share her talent will anyone who will appreciate it. As you can see, MILLIONS of people have appreciated it. Who are you to tell her, or them, or anyone that they're wrong in doing so?

I love the enthusiasm that she puts into this cover. its not just anyone sat there playing an instrument, its someone showing they love playing their instrument :) there might be a couple of mistakes but the point here is she is brave enough to just carry on instead of trying to get the perfect video :) for me this is one of my favourite guitar covers on youtube, definitely going to subscribe.

I've been looking for a cover to see how the first two extended notes are played, the first couple covers I watched someone messed up those notes so... strike one, the next person played this in the wrong key, strike 2 for me, but you nailed the whole song so nice job!
