I love Jacoby's voice in this. It shows a different sort of vulnerability and beauty, a whole new layer of his vocal talent. The song is softer, but still has that edge that I love so much in PR's music. I love it and can't wait for the album!

I woke up today, lying in my bed.. see 2 new p. roach songs.. first listening to born for greatness.. jumped out of my bed, headbanging through the bathroom, motivated like never before.. song is over, listening to periscope and started to cry like a river, like i did when i heard leader of the broken hearts the first 200 times. i dont know how they are doin this, but i feel soooo much emotions in every of their songs! Always my favorite band :)

TheKiller260 they really do. they were the first band I ever saw live back when last resort first came out, before alien antfarm was a thing, they opened for papa roach. there was some other band that opened for aa that was fucking TERRIBLE, for obvious reasons, I don't recall their name. but coby dick is still a beast and he only gets better with age.

I saw that same tour, one of the first concerts I went to. Orgy was supposed to open for AAF but due to illness was replaced with Snapcase at the last minute. Snapcase sucked, but Papa Roach absolutely killed it at that show.

The melodic well sung harmonies with Skylar, the breathing each of them provide each other with their parts, the meaning in the lyrics. We're talking about soft vs heavy why? This sounds like a lot of effort went into it. Props to them. They'll keep shining. It's not like there aren't a ton of heavy Papa roach songs you can't go listen to. Cheers to evolution.

Can people chill about it being "Pop". They're making music they're proud of. That's all that matters, you should be proud they were willing to try something new with their music and not rewrite their old albums. A lot of artists stay in confined boxes their fans set out for them because they know how much their fans hate it when they leave that box. Papa Roach stepped out of that box, they always have. I'm proud of them.

Because LP has put out what a lot of people think is shit. PR has put out something new, but it still maintains their core sound. And before you spew some "LP always changes their sound" bullshit, albums like ATS and Living Things were different, but still sounded like LP. So far this album has sounded like typical mainstream garbage, and while you may like it, which is fine, the direction they've gone is almost certainly to hold higher chart ratings which is the definition of selling out. Just my take, may be mistaken but regardless I don't like it. I don't post about it on their videos, but I won't buy or listen to their new album given that Mike said "Heavy" is the essence of what the album will sound like.

Anyone who thinks this song is too soft should watch their performance from Rock on the Range last week. They played with a high school marching band and totally killed it. It was clearly one of the best performances of the weekend.

Oh come on, Papa Roach makes an occasional soft rock song for their albums. Remember Roses on my grave from Paramour Sessions? Carry me and Had enough from Metamorphosis, Before I Die from The Connection, No matter what from Time For Annihilation... People don`t want to hear this song especially because of the Linkin Park fiasco with the same singer. This is however, at least for me, something completely different. This song works and is far from being "pop".
