playing duck hunt with a mouse, literally ruins the entire experience and challenge of playing duck hunt with the zapper. I guess the only challenging thing about being able to play legit duck hunt nowadays is finding a CRT TV

@@icannotthinkofaname6248 Where do I start? First of all, Doom made a concept, which only worked in theory practically useable. I'm talking about creating a fake 3D space in a 2D environment. While you can't look up and down in DOOM 1 and 2, you still can go up and down like the enemies. That's the technology that John Carmack worked on, he was the one creating the Oculus Rift. This technology made 3D gaming more possible than ever before. The next thing are the basics that every shooter has, for example, if you get hit in any modern shooter you see some indication on your screen from where this hit came from. That was invented in Doom if you get hit your screen turns red and the head of the Doomguy looks in the direction where you were hit. So players could know from were they getting shot at. Before Doom, shooters weren't as liked as platformers or other Jump n' Run games. With Wolfenstein 3D and Doom, the genre just boomed and many began to develop in this genre.

I remember playing Delta force: land warrior as a kid, overall it was a great game for me as it was one of the first fps I ever played next to igi, cod United offensive and medal of honor
I must of spent so many years playing Commander Keen as a kid in the 90s! Such a great game. I remember playing Doom on a floppy disk that was from America on my Dad's PC in 1993/94 as well. Memories, I remember getting doom when I was like 5/6 my Dad made my year!
holy shit i have been searching for delta force so long, lent some demo disk from friend and used to play it a lot, now i can go back finish it maybe, thank you anomaly

The Delta Force series was amazing. I spent so many hours playing the same levels in single player and sometimes multiplayer. Black Hawk Down was the best for multiplayer.
@@BlueRockEye check out joint operations typhoon rising then. Same devs, same game, but better. You can make your own maps also and play coop. One of the best games ever made imo.

wow , im 34 and ,beside pong, i played all those game when i was young ! Delta forces was so nice back then !! i also loved the first soldier of fortune too! good memories. , first game i played was Scorched Earth , haha
Delta Force is on Steam?!? no way! Papa Anomaly played the finest games. Me and my brother Tony played Delta Force together when we were 14-15. Commander Keen is a really good platformer, it’s from the same dudes who made Doom and Quake.
I was such a little kid back in the delta force days. I still have the game in hardbox on my shelf. Ahhh the memories. Also duck hunt was one of my first fun games on my chinese bootleg nintendo.
