PAPAJI - Prarabdha Karma - Nothing Ever Exists

The first part of the video is brilliant explanation of Karma. What is unnecessarily sometimes complicated as three karmas sancita, agamya, prarabhdha - Papaji simply explains using a simple analogy of money in the pocket! What I earned yesterday, what I will earn today and what I spend things on today. And nowhere except in Ramana and Papaji you hear this bold statement that even Prarabhda is bound to manifestation and enlightened is not bound by it. For someone who has thrown the wallet, how can the remaining money be of value? Only the enlightened can state that with such a clarity. The second part of the video is a beautiful direct pointing out of the unaffected carefree untouched Self in us. Papaji guides the questioner to that state himself by expertly toying around carefully with waking sleeping slowly dropping what goes into it and what stays in sleep. "There is someone or something awake when the ego goes to sleep. That one is here even now. Ignore this ego and remember that!" What a beautiful pointer. Million thanks Papaji! We should listen to this guidance portion a second time with closed eyes, like a guided meditation or inquiry where Papaji is asking US to do that thought experiment, slowly in feeling and awareness, without intellect coming in the way. Then we get the benefit of what hundred upanishads try to teach us. We get the glimpse. One can watch a hundred hours of this Master and cannot but be amazed by how each time the words and articulation of the truth is in new words, new phrases, and fresh! As he said elsewhere, it comes from Silence without any filtering intellect on his part.

@@RaviAnnaswamy - "nowhere except in Ramana and Papaji you hear this bold statement that even Prarabhda is bound to manifestation and enlightened is not bound by it" Advaita clearly states this view that karma is only in vyavaharika for nama-roopa-vyavahara (name-form-function) and turiya is not bound by it and that from standpoint of truth, nothing ever manifested. In some ways, it is Advaita 101. This is not a new or bold statement. I have high respects for Sri Ramana and Sri Papaji and I am a devotee myself. Just stating a fact.
