Tsamikos may have Cham Albanian origins, or shared Greek-Albanian origins in Epirus, but it is very widely celebrated by Greeks today, and Greek musicians would have also composed their own melodies. It's fair to say that Tsamika are danced at every Greek wedding, while I'm not sure how popular the Cham Albanian equivalent is today. Music spreads over time, and there is little point in trying to turn the clocks back or get resentful - just enjoy it.
