The drummer is self-taught for the most part, except for a few months of instruction from the lead singer, and was only about 14 or 15 years old in this video. Had only been playing for about a year. Pretty impressive too, since he’s also singing background vocals.
This makes me so sad. I was in a band in the 80's. Crème brûlée we were called. No, only kidding. But I was in a band. I watch great talent like this and it makes me want to pick up my guitar again. But my hands and finger are so large now, I can't really play well enough any more. This makes me so sad. Great band.
Large as in fat? Never too late to change your life and playing guitar is a great incentive. It is working for me. Research diet, Barbar O'Neill and others. Waslking is essential too - and sleep. Go for it.
Yep ... or at least know how to place one central mike (extreme-old-skool) or amp-speakers ... or use one supersimple mike-mixing-table ... like Radio-Shack used to sell in the 80ies/90ies.
I searched (take me out covers) haven't watched any of the others but I'm just going to say this is the best cause I don't think Franz did it this good and it's rare for friends to get together and gel this good. I’m a bit late to the party on this one (7 years). Just stumbled across this as was thinking of covering it in my “just for fun” band. Obviously, the vocals needed to be a bit loader, but otherwise thought it was excellent. Greeting timing and you were all really tight, well done.
