Well having watched the entire film, I've come to the conclusion that if it hadn't been for others and the chinese girl that cop would have been wasted several times over. He didn't win one fight, he was lucky though lots of times. 🤣

A fairly standard run o the mill 90s action. A great film for the first 1 hour and 15 minutes. A top cast line up, 9.1/10 for that. It felt like playing GTA3 back in the day. Then the annoying kid whining and a really crappy, cheesy action ending spoiled it. 5/10 for the ending. Overall 7.2/10 A shame it didn’t reach its full potential. The ending lets it down and makes you feel disappointed and irritated that they think so little of the audience, to finish it off with bs. That’s why I marked it down to 7.2. If the film just ended 20 minutes earlier, it would be 8.8/10 9.1/10 minus a few points for no ending and a whiny kid. No endings better than a bs ending.

It ticked me off that they had a picture of Bruce Willis in the ad for the movie and there was no Bruce Willis in this movie. Surprisingly, it did get my attention and I watched it all the way through and it was a good movie.

Entertaining enough for its age. Forget car chases this film has a speedboat chase. Now if I excuse the typical actors clothes are dry after they get out of the water & being able to see the stunt pilot steering the speedboat crouched down in the seat etc. Yeh its that type of movie! lots of exploding oil barrels, car crashes into piles of boxes and bullet ricochets when the gun is pointed into the air etc. In ways it reminded me of the Starsky & Hutch tv series effects! But overall I still enjoyed it. Dated stunts are still better to watch than some of the modern cgi garbage!

james russo was great in china girl what a performance along with rest of the cast he's been awesome in everything else he acted in since one of those actors that always gives 100 percent to all his roles

2 good actors in stereotype film which gave me a headache. Seems now a days all you got to do to please the masses it to shake the camera around coupled with 4 seconds between frames... very anoying. This movie they took out of the filing cabinet, renamed it, stuck a few good actors in it and saved a fortune of the plot. Chines girl worst actor I ever seen in working with professionals.

I love escapist entertainment, but I still want to be on he same planet. This piece of tripe has been done a thousand times before. Nothing, new, nothing original, but the car chases, boat chases, and gunfights are so absurd they make the Keystone cops look like MOSAD. Thanks for the laugh, anyway. Silly..

Otherwise an okay B movie, right up until his son was abducted at the hospital. Then the rest of the movie got silly with a totally talentless detective who couldn't shoot, run or fight. And a film team that had totally lost track of time and just had to end the film with confusing action scenes.
