This video is just to show the optional bosses for Paper Mario. SDA does not require them as part of their 100% definition, but I thought that it doesn't hurt to show how to beat them. These methods are not the fastest in some cases, but they are all very quick and reliable, out of all of them only the master 2, the master 3 and the anti guy unit took more then one try. These are done at level 7 after chapter 7, the level is pretty low, but the badges I have by this point make up for it.
Buzzar - 0:00
Buzzar is really simple after chapter 7, she's extremely vulnerable to being paralyzed by Watt, and it only takes 3 mega rush/ultra boot mega jumps to kill her off. This is faster then doing 2 series of Power Bounces by a small margin (Also a lot easier to pull off).
Kent C. Koopa - 0:36
Kent is very vulnerable to being put to sleep, so start off with that and the mega jump him with Mario and headbonk with Goombario, he goes down quickly after that. Just remember to attack the tail and not the shell.
Chan - 1:27
Chan's fight isn't worth mentioning, 1 shot with both Goombario and Mario, good luck finding a faster way around this one.
Lee - 1:44
Lee isn't much better then Chan, Goombario takes a full headbonk and Mario does one Mega Jump. Again, not much faster in terms of speed. 3 jumps compared to the 5 for a Power Bounce.
The Master 1 -- 2:03
Finally something new! I needed the one Power Bounce and then Mario does aMega Jump. Bow's fan smack does 10 damage, so since the master does not have defense I use it.
The Master 2 -- 2:44
This one required only the one shot of luck manipulation, and then using repel gel's which are everywhere. The rest of this is self explanatory. The hardest part was taking out the 75 HP without going over 25 FP. I managed though, he wasn't that hard but he took a few resets to get the luck and power bounce.
The Master 3 -- 3:58
Oh dear, this one was hard 99 hp to kill and only 25 FP to use. I decided to use the Goombario charge method here. Using the repel gel's both Mario and Goombario got high level charges and then used Power Bounce/Multibonk to finish him off. The luck manipulation wasn't too bad, but the jumping was pretty difficult to get right. Goombario went first just in case Mario needed to do extra bounces.
Anti Guy Unit -- 5:33
I'll start out by saying there is no single method to make sure you can beat these guys without dying at a low level. This is also the only one that I was at level 8 to fight on, sorry buy at this point in the game I had leveled up again. The strategy here was to make sure all three were paralyzed on turn one, then mega quake as often as possible with Mario to lower the rest, I used a repel gel after they come back to get in another quake. After that I needed to do a repeat of paralyzing everybody, I failed, but got really lucky there. This may not be the fastest way, but at such a low level you have to improvise when things don't work out, and that is what I did here.
Finally, for anyone wondering why I don't do recipes those are also not required by SDA's definition; unlike the optional bosses this one I completely agree with. To show anyone who cares why these shouldn't be included I'll post a link to a video showing just how long they are. It's about 30 minutes of Tra-la-la-la's and this guy has edited the collecting ingredients part out of the video. Be warned the video has cussing, if you don't like it either don't go to it or mute the video.
