33:41 My friend, his cousin and I all had TTYD growing up, and where I would try to balance my HP/FP/BP with each level-up, I remember my buddy would just go all-in on his HP. Sure, by the later chapters he had a fuck ton of health, but he wondered why he was having such a hard time despite that (I really don't think he fully grasped the badge system and how useful they could be). All these years later I understand why the BP is so important.

Perfect grammar takes a lot of editing. Easy to notice once it’s already in production, but also easy to miss if you wrote everything. That’s why even seasoned authors need professional editors. So I would never fault an indie game for suboptimal grammar. It is a sign of poor quality for a big company, but that’s because they have the money to afford professional editors

So btw, in the prologue, you can grind, not for exp, but for badges. Specifically close call and close call p, and you can have a bunch of them and just be almolst invincible whenever you hit 5 hp or below.

I’ve just started playing this and already the background is frustrating the heck outta me and there are assets I’m not supposed to see like Luigi’s basement that makes the whole experience feel a bot wonky. I hope they fix those visual errors because I was desperately trying to fix it in my own emulator!

It's possible that a later update fixes things, but the battle/victory/level-up songs here REALLY need another pass. A grammar check would be good too; like you said, it's a minor thing but it's really noticeable when it pops up, it makes the text look unpolished. (this may be an outdated comment because I'm 8 months late) Having said that, I'm really looking forward to seeing the rest of the mod!

Which Emulator do use? I tried this mod myself and it crashed everytime when I was in a battle with a goomba (I used Project64)

I wonder if someone could give me some advice on which emulator to use to play this on Windows? I started with Project64. The game runs perfectly but I run into a black screen of death error that says something about a PJ64 bug and to use a different emulator. Then I tried bizhawk, I got a black screen on the default core. On the other core the game lags - bad. Any suggestions on what I should try next? Thanks!

Low HP? That's a fun challenge. Low FP? That's an unfun challenge. All my replays, I put one level into FP and then the rest into BP. In vanilla 64 especially, you run into the BP limit way too quick. #TenFPIsSolid #LetUsHaveOurTenFP it's just equipping an FP Plus for the entire game with one fewer step.

In response to the conplaints about the bad grammar in mods; If it is that big of an issue, yiu could always make your own oatch for the mod. Yiu coukd go trough and fix the text files, Then release s oatch to these mods

Havent seen the entire video but thus was essentially what i would want in a 64 remake, the 64 story and partners, but with thousand year doors mechanics.

I can't wait for a full playthrough of this mod, AND TTYD remake.

16:40 Yeah unfortunately this was my biggest gripe with this mod, is that the music was just not done very well. It was irritating enough to me that I unfortunately had to stop playing fairly early on. I wish an option had been included to use the normal PM64 music instead.

I was wondering which mode you were going to choose. I'm surprised you didn't pick hard mode. The game is already easy and TTYD elements mixed into it will make it even easier. To me it has been more fun to have to strategize a little with stronger enemies and using the extra TTYD partner elements to my advantage. I never super guard though, and tbh I would probably fail every time considering how often I some how miss the guards ha

I had trouble with that mole game, I felt like that strat Fatguy settled for didn't work so I had to do more. I did put the game on hard mode though. I also accidentally skipped his first dialogue so I didn't know about the 8000 and thought there may very well be more after that reward. Not sure if it changed after this episode or that Kappy didn't mention all the hard mode changes but the HP of the enemies is also higher.

I thought that the background not being big enough was my emulator messing up until Fatguy said it was the mod.
