One thing I've always loved about this game is how each boss had their own unique battle theme it's a little thing but it helps add a lot in giving these boss battles their own personality and feel.
Every Paper Mario game has the world bosses have their own battle theme which I’m really happy they do though this game really makes each boss theme feel really unique like you said
I remember as a child, I played this game and got to the Sirens and quit the game and said it was too hard. Seven years later, I returned to the game I once despised. I played through the entire game, beat every boss (except Bonetail but whatever), and in the end, it became my favorite video game of all time. This game is my childhood 😊
Play this on a good pc on dolphin emulator (Gamecube + Wii emulator) and with an hd texture pack and 16:9 hack on. Just search hd ttyd or something to kbow what i mean.

Slenderfoxx37 I never said you couldn't dislIke Color Splash, from the way you were speaking, it sounded like you were (and probably are) a part of the hate bandwagon that judged the game before release, so that's how I could tell. By the way, this is the first time Koopalings have been in Paper Mario, so it isn't all "Lame and Unoriginal" as you say, not to mention that there are other bosses besides the Koopalings like Kamek and Petea. "Thing Weaknesses" have to go though, so I agree with you on that one.

I died at the part when everyone was cheering for Mario, and that one guy was cheering for Luigi, while Luigi wasn't even part of the adventure! LOL!!!
Ok. I'm assuming most of u have not played paper mario ttyd but, Luigi is NOT part of the main story but he does appear and the guy cheering on luigi is actually cheering on mario just hunks his name is luigi

+LightEmUpHomie I agree.... I loved The Thousand Year Door, so amazing and such a wonderful game... I liked the original Paper Mario and Super Paper Mario too, but no, not the others... Sticker Star and Colour Splash don't impress me a bit. They don't hold the maturity and depth, while holding that youthful charm and being a childrens' game, that lives up to The Thousand Year Door and the other games for me...

Unstoppable YT for me, all 3 were disasters. I had way more trouble than I should have on the D. Koopatrol, and rawk hawk wasn’t too hard, but when he climbed up on those beams I didn’t know how to hit him at first. After that, I got unlucky with grubba(also I had no healing items) and got him down to 4 HP. He had boosted defense and dodging abilities. I used my jump. Because his defense was boosted, I did no damage. My partner missed. Then I tried again(no star power to heal with sweet treat) with my hammer. I missed, them he killed me. I destroyed him on my second try though
My all time favourite game. Just listening to this great music and watching these colourful bosses which gave me headaches at the time brings back so many great childhood memories...
I checked out and played through this game because I loved and grew up playing Super Paper Mario, unlike most who did the opposite. Everyone said this was the best in the series. I certainly love it, and can see why SPM was kind of lost in its shadow, but I don't consider it better or worse, just different. I agree with most that TTYD and SPM are very different games and you really can't compare them. Story-wise and writing-wise, they both kick ass(especially SPM) but it just comes down to what gameplay style you prefer. I prefer the real-time platformer style myself, but I completely understand why people choose this as their favorite. That and nostalgia I'm sure
Yeah I played through Super Paper Mario, and I thought that game got way too much flak from Paper Mario fans. I mean I can understand the detest for Sticker Star, as from what I've heard that game doesn't really have much of a narrative (though I should really play it to get a better understanding), but Super Paper Mario was very charming.

33:46 is, not only, my favorite boss fight, but is overall my favorite character in the entire Mario series. :D He's extremely underrated, and that's what I love about him!
Something i always enjoyed from Mario JRPGs aka Paper Mario and Mario & Luigi series, is that in the game always has you active and in the alert unlike most JRPGs like Pokemon or Dragon Quest where you just select a command and watch animations play. Here you select a command and try to the button presses right and on the enemy's turn try to block (or dodge in mario & luigi) and just keeps the battle entertaining.
Alright, now a lot of people on the internet say sonic could beat Mario in a fight no matter what.But thanks to superguarding, paper Mario could easily kick his ass.

I love that you took out Beldam first in the second Shadow Sirens battle. I hate her. She obviously doesn’t know that Vivian is the cutest. Clearly she needed that.
RIP creativity and originality when it comes to paper mario games. Origami King is good in its own right, but it can't even hold up a candle to this one.
Welp, I gotta go back to Creepy Steeple to fight Atomic Boo now. And after that, I have to go all the way back to the Palace of Shadows, and fight the Shadow Sirens.
I just now noticed that this is probably the only Paper Mario game where Mario has a bit of voice acting... wow. Edit: Near the end here, and some of the guys are saying Luigi?
ZeldaGrossmeister Paper Jam is not a bad game, but it's not as good as the other as the other Mario rpgs. At least, better than Sticker star and color splash.
I never realized this as a kid but ttyd is literally backtracking throughout the majority of the game :0 it blew my mind when I realized that in gonna say that's the biggest flaw of this game but ttyd will always have a special place in my heart especially the mystery and awe it gave me as a kid wondering what's behind the door ah memories

27:20 - Glitzville from Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door is like Wall Market from Final Fantasy VII Remake. They both have a Chinese styled building and Mario, Cloud, and their friends all have to join a fighting competition. Don Corneo lives in Wall Market and in order for Mario to get to Glitzville, he was to get a ticket from a Pianta named Don Pianta.
Hehe... anybody notice at the end of the video, they talk about Petalburg? If you played Pokémon, you'll know that Paper Mario is probably making a reference to Pokémon ORAS. This is the first time I've watched this video to the end, however I never knew that a Pokémon City (Petalburg City) was to also be used in a Mario game.
Yeah because a 2004 game is making a reference to a remake of a game made in 2005. Paper Mario TTYD came put before gen three of pokemon so if anything, Pokemon is making a reference to Paper Mario, which i doubt because petalberg is a common name in the real world.
If I could have any game on the switch and I mean any... id probably pick this one... I have it on my Wii which can port Nintendo GameCube games but still... this game has aged so well and being able to play it on the go and stuff would be incredible. Honestly the same way pm 1 changed in pmttyd... they should do the same now. New story new partners new characters. This Games battle system is so incredible... I wouldn’t want them to just copy it into a new game but (if we do get a good paper mario) I would adore if the battle system was on a stage or something as clever as that. This game definitely in my top 3 nintendo games (Super Mario odyessy, mario and Luigi bowsers inside story and pmttyd) and I really hope a GOOD mario rpg comes soon this is my cry for help as a Nintendo fan to get a new, good paper mario. I hope the series can come back and judging by the recent 10/10 ratings on big games (Odyessy BOTW) I think it’s possible. Also the people in charge have changed (I’ve watched so many paper mario videos by “Arlo” and “SupermarioT” which showcase what has happened and what could happen to the series. I wish the best of luck and if we hit a 3rd bust in the series... people are going to beat it like a dead horse. Fortunately Color splash was a step up from sticker star and maybe we can get a game that’s a even bigger step from that (something as good as one of the first three paper Mario’s) anyway that’s my comment about paper mario thanks for reading and goodluck to the series. :)
My young self would like to tell you how hard this game is! I was on that one island! I had no coins! I had one HP! I had saved! I had eaten all the Wackabumps! I got rid of the game! I want to get a time machine and punch me little brat in the face!
When I played this when I was young: Chapter 4 felt like forever, could not ever figure out how to access chapter 5, chapter 7 finding general white felt like forever, chapter 8 was always stuck on grodus and bowser, never beat the game, floor 30 was the highest (lowest) floor I got to in the pit of 100 trials. Now however I 100% the game
