Paper or Plastic? It'll no longer be a choice for Californians “Paper or plastic” will no longer be a choice at grocery store checkout lines in California under a new law signed Sunday by Gov. Gavin Newsom. #california #plastic #politics
Please...how much plastic is used in food packaging yet a plastic bag to take it home in is now banned by law 😂 This s*it is beyound stupid. Meanwhile real crisis situations go unresolved or ignored in this state and country.
Ban all the hard-plastic-wrapped items and most plastics, but not plastic bags-they are very convenient, and the thick ones are very reusable. Since supermarkets stopped providing plastic bags for fruits and vegetables, I've had to buy large Ziploc bags to replace them. I'm using more plastic than before.
I was just there recently I left 4 years ago. No plastic straws only paper the weirdo’s and freaks feel right at home. People wearing mask everywhere even in their cars. I asked a person at a medical facility where the restroom was they asked me which one I knew right then I had made the right choice in leaving, was there a week couldn’t wait to leave it’s beyond insane the level of insanity that is not only tolerated but celebrated is really something special like wearing a helmet special.
They make him sound like a hero, the real problem is that Newsome is unqualified and doesn’t have the skill set required to deal with real issues so he hides behind frivolous accomplishments. I want a governor that is tough and able to deal with tough issues with real solutions and measurable results instead of wasting more time and resources on something that can wait. It’s time for him to go.
First of all this all could of been avoided if we were able to recycle bags as we do for glass, aluminum, and plastic bottles they charge 10 cents a bag which if we got the 10 cent back it would encourage tons of people to recycle better! I feel like the reusable bags will now be up charged once this goes into effect!
Bring your own reusable and washable bags. Why not do something meaningful to help clean up the environment? Costco doesn’t give you any bags at all and it just works fine
