Paper project with a diode laser- Wizmaker L1

I had an idea for a laser project that can be done with the diode lasers. I chose the Wizmaker LE1 for this job and it performed well. The machine has a work area of 400X400 mm and I have tested it with speeds up to 18,000 mm/m with good results. The assembly is fairly simple and the design is rugged. With a beam size of .06X.08, the machine performs well on engraving and cutting.

Great video! You've given me a few ideas. I've been thinking about making a Christmas ornament on the laser to send out with our cards this year. Now ( thanks to you), I can burn on the return address and cut some slots to hold the ornament!

Clack, Good stuff. Learned more ideas for node editing. Have done some small paper cutting projects but hadn't thought of engraving on the paper. Keep them coming.

I have toyed with the idea of using stationery with my D1 Pro but of all the videos I've watched. this is a first. Never seen this done until now. Very cool - very interesting.

I have never used Lightburn but have been watching laser videos as I find them interesting. I was wondering in the first part of why when you were making your jig bigger, why didn't you just drag the bottom of the jig down to expand it like you dragged up the other one you made to add to it?
