I wonder if teams this year are just better or if prx is having a midlife crisis because last year they were grand finalists? This year's trend so far has been the mid-rounding imo. Teams like Sen, Kc and other teams have struggled this year after initial success when strats were still simple. But taking a look at how lotus was played last year vs this year is way more push and pull. Excited to see how G2 does against EDG.
initiators (primarily skye) being nerfed greatly reduced the amount of info teams have per round so having a good read on the round and understanding how your opponents move around the map has become more important
Just my two cents on the topic: ive heard sliggy(whose a great streamer and analyser) say that something should try kj or sentinel in general. Even for a month, so he learns discipline. They should also use the large off season to help jing maybe widen his map pool for non-raze maps. Finally, for an igl i think d4v4i, mindfreak or even forsaken should try IGLing rather than sign an IGL
f0rsaken seems to have good reads on the game, if he becomes designated IGL with someone being a second input to still maintain that balance then PRX have the ability to be very strong
There is nothing wrong with how they play, in the words of TMV, i dont care if they go full W gaming, or become the slowest team ever. They just need to do it together.
this what i've been saying, post plant A on icebox PRX would just sit in site and let G2 surround and overwhelm them, i think old PRX would have been more proactive and pushed into spawn to make up for not having a flank watch or go kill flank together instead of letting G2 take all the space for free
it works unless you stupidly peeking like something does. its soo fucking annoying, swing together with teammate or play with utils dont fucking dry peek. this is not ranked and this is not 2022/20223 season
