You know how the 2D dimension is a flat plane, like paper, and the 3D dimension is like a cube? I think how the game breaks it is by "going to the other side of the paper". I believe the girl isn't going into the 3rd dimension, but just going to the other side of the 2D plane. So, if we did what the girl does, we would be going outside of our 3D cube. Damn, I can't imagine how the thought works at all.

Idk how I feel about the trial and error needed to find the right fold to make because there isn't really a hint of what will be on the other side of the "page." Neat and pretty game none the less.
3:40 ABG: is informed the lighthouse keeper wants to keep hoodlum out, ABG immediately tries to enter the lighthouse. Sooo you actually don't help anyone? When you make a new path the people fade out of existance, trapped in some pocket dimension where they don't even see you do your thing. If you revert the state, they are mostly trapped like before.
Beautiful and interesting, but doesn't look like there's much gameplay. Just trial and error, folding things until you find which direction to fold from that gives you a way forward. Maybe more like an interactive experience than a game. That music is so calming, and what a pleasing visual style!
Seeing a lot of comments about the soundtrack - it is by Claudie Mackula, instantly recognizable as her. This soundtrack isn't released as far as I know, she's said it will be eventually (perhaps with the release of the game) but she has a lot of similar style music on her channel. www.youtube.com/@ClaudieMackula
This reminds me of "Tearable world". I heard about this game around 2013 and I thought it was awesome. Sadly, the only remnants of it are archived downloads. Their website, "crumpledupgames" is gone, and I think the artist dropped off the face of the earth.

I was a wee bab in 2013 when I repeatedly ruined my laptop with softonic viruses and chicken grease. On a sidenote, I recently found my ancient laptop and opened it to discover the "it is a mystery" video open on google. Edit, I'm just going to paste my comment i left on the video in question; "I was cleaning out my closet and a bunch of other stuff and I found my old laptop. I mean it was at least 9 years old. I played Minecraft and stuff on it and since probably 2015 I've stopped using it. I cracked my old password and was immediately greeted with google asking me if I want to reload my pages. I clicked yes and it brought up three pages. The first was the Marriott hotel's wifi page, meaning I last used it on vacation at a Marriott hotel in NC State. The second page was a game article on the upcoming fallout 4 and reused assets. The third was unavailable due to the lack of wifi so I had to go to my desktop to search the link. It was the "It's a mystery" RU-vid video."
