I enjoyed the direct comparison between paper and film. I liked the accidental double exposure as well. I just shot a few test multiple exposures on 35mm. Depending on the results, I’ll do some with my 4x5. Thanks for another great video.
that direct positive windmill is pretty amazing Will. You can also pre-flash or post-flash the direct positive to get a little more shadow detail (The opposite of pre/post flashing negative paper where it gives you a little more highlight detail)
For me it's exciting, taking the photograph (metering and capturing) at the moment of developing it is either I got it very well or I missed the exposure time, the focus, I almost missed the developing. Taking the photograph and developing it is something magical.
Thank you Virgil, I will try that, had lots of different advice on positive paper, it seems most people like something a little bit different. I do find it a bit to contrasty myself so will try 1 to 30 👍 Thank you 😁
Hi, i am not sure, I did look into it, but not something I can afford at the moment. I have mixed thoughts on it, I think it is a great idea, but not sure how practical it will be out and about.
Hi Will, do I take it that there is no reciprocity allowance required for the paper? I haven’t given paper a try yet but there’s an out of date box of the Harman in my cellar!
I didn't add any, just metered at 3 iso. Some people mentioned reciprocity failure and paper but it seems to not be a problem. At an ISO of 3, exposures are long enough as it is 😁
