I got twosisters and they were the best dogs i ever had. Sweet, intelligent, smart, easy to 😅train,😮 lovable, loyal. Hard tohandle thepainwhen they passed away.
The Papillon who Could Perform Miracles My little princess Cordy would only sit on the carpet or a blanket because she didn’t believe that a princess should put her butt on a cold floor. It was so cute, it feels like just yesterday, I miss her so much. She was perfect. She would even alert my parents to my seizures even though she was never trained to do that. After I had had one she would sit next to me until I could look her in the eye and say “Mommy’s okay”. Even if it took an hour. As soon as I could tell her that I was OK she would nod and then go back to bed. She was the best thing that ever happened to us. We got her right after my dad had his first open heart surgery hoping she would help him live longer. She changed all our lives and 15 years later my dad is doing great. After 3 open heart surgeries and 3 brain surgeries he is 70 but literally looks and acts like a 50 year old. She was absolutely one of a kind. People thought we were crazy when we got her because we wouldn’t go anywhere she wasn’t invited and refused to leave her alone. None of our Papillons have ever been left at home without one of us there. Witch means we haven’t been to a restaurant together in 15 years. Their worth it! Cordy was the center of our universe and we made all decisions with her in mind. My parents and I were always close but she made us inseparable. I choose to still live with my parents because of her. But I consider myself luckier than most because I have seen her 3 times sense she passed away and she looked happier and more beautiful than ever. She even managed a minor miracle. My dad bought a new car and that night it snowed heavily. The next morning everything was covered with 1 1/2 feet of snow except the new car witch only had water droplets on it. The car was in the open, no trees around. And next to the car where tiny paw prints. My Mom saw her once, the night before she was hospitalized. So we know she is still watching over us, exactly as she did in life. After the worst of our grieving had passed, ( My Dad woke up crying every day for weeks, they had the closest relationship because he literally never left home without he unless he had a doctors appointment.) we decided to get a new female. And we knew Cordy approved because she brought the baby ( as we still call her ) two toys. ( At different times. ) I buy all her toys on Amazon, so I know for a fact I didn’t buy them. In the morning they were lying beside the sleeping baby. The most incredible dog in the world, still amazing us even after death! The toys she brought were a replica of the baby’s favorite toy ( witch had lost an eye ) and a tiny yellow rubber ducky. We still miss her every day even though it has been 3 years. Sadly she was only 12 when she passed. None of us had ever owned a dog, except my dad who had one in Vietnam as part of the K-9 unit. One of the things that have led to him having PTSD since then was knowing that the government executed the dog that saved his life on numerous occasions. So because we had never had a dog, we were completely ignorant about buying a puppy. Because of that, we ended up unknowingly buying her from a puppy mill. Despite all that, knowing how much we loved her she defied expectations bye holding on for 2 more years than any on believed possible. ( she didn’t suffer, she just had a week heart. ) To prove how ignorant I was about all things dogs I remember telling my mom that buying one would be exspencive because they probably cost $300!!! LOL We eventually paid $1,500 for her. Worth every penny!!!
I’m on my third Papillon. My Pixi just turned 10. She is always at my side. They are the sweetest and most intelligent breed I’ve ever owned. Pixi says to tell Cali hello and we send kisses! 👅👅
Great! I love how you do educate her and how you give her love. It is a very intelligent breed. I am sure you get all your love and effort back from her. So well done!
Thank you for sharing this your sweet Callie reminds me alot of my Papillion Griffin. Exactly when he was a baby. I love following Papillion videos on here and yours was on my list to view. I want another one they're so smart and loving. Enjoy her sweet love and tricks 💘
My papillon lived to be 16. He was adorable but would NOT EVER get another especially a male! They mark everything!!!! They are WAY smarter than their owners!
Reminds me so much of our Alfie when we first had him :-) Poor boy passed away last week nearly 11 years old. So heartbroken by it - He was my best mate.
Sitting here with Tigger (my Pappi) on my lap, loving your vid & memories of our furbaby's earliest days! A Pappi is a gigantic package of pure, enthusiastic, gleeful love!
Your baby is so cute. I love papillions. I had 2. they were sisters and they both were easy to train, and were both trained to watch my blood sugars. They got old and passed away, but I still miss them to this day. 🥰
I love your Papillon. She reminds me so much of the one I used to have. Yours is the first Papillon that looked like my Pixie and had her wonderful personality. What breeder did you get her from? Please message me . I'm dogless right now, but if I could get another Pap, like the one you have, I'd be dog happy again. I hope you have posted or will post more videos of her growing up. I would love to see her now that she's all grown up.

@@elaineswalleytovar1059 join papillon groups on Facebook in your area. Living in CA you should easily be able to find one. But they have a heafty pricetag at between $1800-4K I'm sure you already know that though since you had one. I know a ton of good breeders but I'm on the east coast. Good luck.
She looks just like mine. Same markings almost identical except opposite face imbalance. Mine has more black on his left side. Right looking at him. Like yours has on her right side. He's from Alabama. We could probably get them together and have perfectly even faced markings lol
you are raising your pap. correctly, they are not. normal dogs.. they need human bonding more then there food.. they are the 2nd smart dog in the akc kingdom.. do not get a pap if you just think you can just put in a corner. they will die don't do it.. but if you raising them this way they will shine like no dog. that's because they are not. paps are different... good job..
FYI never cut the ear frindge ! it might not grow back. it takes a pap 2-4 years for their coat to fully come in. my pap when i brought her home at 8 weeks her ears were still floppy ! shes 5 months now and her ears are standing straight up with frindges and weighs 3.5 pounds. shes very small and skinny for the breed. she learndt sit in 5 mins ! im having issues teaching her other tricks. she also goes out side now for potting ! no more pee pads ! heres a video of her ... instagram.com/p/BVPnVyJFiaQ/
I can't stop watching this video. I have my second pap Rocky he's 9 years old. Was thinking about a baby brother pap for him and of course a baby for me. After watching your video it sealed the deal. Cali is adorable. Love this and you are great parents. Got some great training tips. Thanks
They are very smart, so train them early. I have trained mine that her kennel is her safe place and she LOVES her kennel now! She goes into it when I tell her with no hesitation and even goes without being told! I'm so glad that you are considering getting a papillon! They are truly the best dogs!
We got her from Joan Moore in Middletown, ny. I believe she stopped breeding papillons but keep an eye out on her website in case that changes: www.pugpupsandmore.com/
