Pap is the closest thing we have to Big L. They always had a similar flow style and metaphorical sensibility. So damn underrated. Bet he's not most of your Top 50 Rapper Lists.
This guy is good because he is 38 years old which means he grew up with real rap from the late 80s, 90's, early 2000s. Today's rap and rapper don't have the lyrical knowledge of skills as the older rappers.

This just proves Pap got a flow for any type of beat. The rhyme structure on that third beat when the DJ tried to switch it up and Pap still caught it. Name anybody else who can do that. I'll wait...........

You could tell Sway knew Papoose wasn't there to play. He anticipated every bar and acknowledged every line. Papoose is a craftsman with this shit and not to be slept on. In his prime or who he is today will always be in my top 5 doa.

Ya papoose is so underappriciated. He has some of the biggest vocab words and is vicious. He's even better then AZ in my opinion. And he made a diss to kendrick called control and that diss record was super vicious. This guy needs to get his props. Maybe not mainstream wise but props by the underground because people always put the same people in there top 10: nas biggie eminem 2pac etc. Papoose should be a top 10 rapper in my opinion and deserves more recoginition and respect
