Enjoying your blogs in pacific islands. Papua New Guinea reminds me of my Medical College days in the 1970s when we were taught about Kuru, a form of Transmissible Spongiform Encephalopathy, first noted in some tribes of PNG. Cause was the social habit of Cannibalism over there until recently. I don’t know if Kuru is taught in Medicine these days.
