It's absolutely outrageous that Paqueta faced betting misconduct allegations almost a year ago and in all that time the FA haven't provided a single shred of evidence to prove them. It's to his credit that Lucas is still playing excellent football, despite these allegations, even though he and his family are suffering as a result. Betting on players receiving yellow cards is actually very common and it's possible he was picked on just because he has a well-known name. We can only hope he'll soon be cleared.
