Friday, July 12, 2024 - For this week’s First Chapter Friday read aloud video I’m going the first few pages of the graphic novel, Parachute Kids, written and illustrated by Betty C. Tang. This book does a wonderful job of giving a close up view of the life of someone who immigrates to America. A real “windows and mirrors” opportunity for both readers born in the US and those who move here. Needless to say, because you are finding it on my channel, I loved it and think you will too! So let’s dive in! :)
