One thing I like about Technic Constraction prior to 06 is how unorthodox and alien some of these sets got. It really made the themes feel unique and fresh.
Exactly why I love them so much too. Even if some look awkward and janky, they're really distinctive and memorable. The Slizers still look unique even after all this time.
I like to believe that the Slizers/Throwbots were the sort of toa "prototypes" the Great Beings constructed before eventually coming onto the final design we see.
If we look at the original lore of bothe lines I would think that the Great Beings were actually what was left after the Slizer home world was destroyed.
Well, if you read the bit from Mania Magazine it says the Throwbots were built by aliens in another galaxy that had the ability of self-maintainance and gained sentience from being left alone for ages. So, you never know.
I believe Slizers is the father of Bionicle, Galidor what I think it's Bionicle's brother in prison, Hero Factory is the son of Bionicle and Bionicle Generation 2 is the grandson of Bionicle.
Although some.may say that they were primitive.. The slizers were the ones who made bionicle posible And some had really creative designs And i still think that it was an nice touch the fact that their "visors" can be lifted up
@@flameendcyborgguy883 I hope not, sizers were one of a kind. The throwable disc and basically every robot is different unlike Bionicle. Although Bionicle had this cool thing about them, I wonder if it was just the marketing.
You should do animations like this of the Robo Riders someday! I know they weren't as well known as the Throwbots/Slizers but they were pretty cool and they were what we got JUST before Bionicle took the world by storm.

Slizers, Roboriders, Bionicle and Hero Factory should have one massive crossover together. Maybe even a remake (A GOOD ONE THIS TIME), of the first two franchises.
I feel like we need a series that crosses over all of the constraction lines. Slizers, Bionicle, and Hero Factory, all joining together to fight... something. It’s hard to think of a villain grander than Terridax.
Teridax is the greatest children's franchise villain of all time. He makes even the likes of Thanos quake in their boots, and the boogie man checks under his bed each night for him. Needless to say, he's more suited for the young adult villain crowd. ;-)
I have the green one, the red one and the blue one. I have the ice one's disc though. I wanted the samurai one. But heck. The Set manual said. The yellow, Samurai, Purple and brown one were suppose to combine together to go against. the Red,White,Blue and Green Titan. It was in the comic of how to build the Titans
I've been holding this nickname for about 20 years now, I remember now where I got my inspiration. I remember also back then Fatal1ty was world's best fps player. I still believe that slizers need more credit, they were much more creative than Bionicles. The marketing team did really good for bionicles, unlike slizers.
Infrared Toa Yes, in some locations he was called Jet. And yes, I think it would be amazing if these came back or someone made a fanfic. I was very sad about all the unanswered questions, however I have my own theories. ;)
RIPGUTProduction I consider Jet like the main antagonist of the franchise. 1: He was portrayed as a bad guy in NA. 2: He was the Slizer's Dome judge. 3: And he did not die, he just fused with Jungle/Amazon.
Infrared Toa 1) I can't really speak to that. 2) I always thought the other slizers would battle in the arena over disputes, kinda like glatorian. He only said who won and lost. 3) I'm glad someone else believes that too and not all the "Blaster is Blaster" BS! XD
