Weighing packs as a seller if you intend to remove the good packs is generally considered one of the worst ways to cheat customers that buy from you if you sell individual packs. I don't do it, and I wouldn't recommend you do it either as it damages the hobby in general. There are ways to weigh some Japanese sets, I believe, but you will have to look elsewhere to find out how to do it as I won't be covering it here.

There isn't enough value across R to SAR cards in modern sets. A lot of heavier packs would just contain a rare card as they are all holo now. And with Japanese booster boxes being reasonable in price and containing at least 1 SR - SAR and around 3 art rares (plus ex cards/Ace Spec), it makes more sense to just buy the booster box as almost half the packs would be 'heavy' anyway.
