Drumming wise their material is not that hard. Getting the grooves down like Lee is a specific skill that not many drummers can master. Good show nonetheless 🤗🍻

@@milimaximus1624 I've been playing for 20 years, don't patronise me. He had only a couple weeks to learn 15 songs that he may have never heard before. He picked up on almost all the nuances and didn't miss any of the key fills or transitions. Go and talk down to someone who gives a shit.

He was ok, his kit was quite small so I felt he had issues with some songs and fills with only 2 toms, mostly noticed it in the new stuff.

He seems to be doing a fine job and I'm grateful for him stepping in to help the band for the foreseeable future. Waltteri's departure was quite the loss to the band because I think he was the best drummer they've had (aside from Lee), but I'm sure PL will find a suitable replacement if they don't decide to keep Guido on permanently. Who knows, given My Dying Bride's erratic touring schedule, they may even get Jeff Singer back on board.
