Ma'am please could you please make a lecture on Middle March. Like a short video on Middle March where you can summarise the whole novel and give some important question , character analysis, important questions which will help us for our upcoming semester exam.
In the mash-up of Classical and Christian iconography, I totally missed that line about "uncreated night" the first time through. In the Greek theogony, Nox (night) and Erebus (darkness) are the children of Gaia and Uranus, and the "first night" in the Christian tradition is Genesis 1:5, but Milton is referring to an eternal, uncreated Darkness that comes before God ever said "let there be light." I'm surprised I missed it, considering how big a theme that is in the 1985 movie "Legend."
