What an amazing performance. I know this is on the Harmony Breaks / Evolve videos, but will this concert be released in audio form one day? Would love to have it as a CD / vinyl, because the sound is fantastic.
I'm pretty sure that's not a proper live video...they have never sounded like that live ever.... You can tell by the way the video is shot and cuts away also...its footage from live concert remastered with the proper audio to beef it up and the odd bit of vocal over dub fo make it appear live ...rather badly tbh its clearly faked and enhanced...metallica have used similar methods before.. I love paradise lost btw but people shouldn't mislead...its a great track probably one of my favourites but it is certainly is not a pure live performance
@@anthonyferguson4218 I have a bunch of bootlegs from 1989-1995, meaning audience-recorded audio. Especially in 1993, they really did sound this tight live - if you can find it, check the bootleg Seasons of Sadness (Live at Palesto, Milan 1993) (otherwise I should upload it soon). They really were this good around this time. Naturally the audio has been cleaned up and edited because this was aired on Headbanger's Ball back in the day. And that's the other thing - the people filming this were from MTV, meaning there was obviously a large enough budget to do this kind of video editing. So I strongly doubt this was a "studio" performance dubbed over the live video, as you may claim. Barring the Draconian Times MMXI live concert (which had some weird instances of autotune), they've never been shy of having their faults on full display. That's why they released their Live at the Bizarre Festival 1995 album with very little editing, as much as they could have done so.
@@fullmetalguy8357 yeah that's what I mean...its a live performance with studio enhancements to beef up the sound and the vocal track...I have seen them a couple of times around the same time as this was out...they were a great band one of my favourites at the time....its not a dig at them...or the video but that's how things get edited when you overlay some parts of the live performance with studio recording...reminds me of Metallicas Seattle concert which has a similar look...when you enhance the audio you cant follow the live performance as you would film it normally because the synchronisation doesn't match up...I just been listening to another one of one of my dads favourite bands thin lizzy earlier also supposed to be live...everyone in the comments thinks it's pure live sound...but again it's not..but that's just the way it is unfortunately...its still a great just spoils it a little for me..👍
@@fullmetalguy8357 just to sort of highlight the point in earlier post...many people think this was one of the greatest live performances ever...but it was spliced together with live recording and overlaid...and dont get me wrong they're really good live too...but it shows on the video they struggle with the synchronisation...hence the modern way round it is not to follow the singer and keep planning around so you cant see it's out of sync...like I say just a little thing that bugs me...I'd rather just see the warts and all performance...👍👍 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-CUhLNMMkHg8.html
@@fullmetalguy8357 on the plus point RE the tin lizzy track...brian downey the drummer never had anything overlaid....smashes his double bass drum like animal...one of the most underrated drummers ever...👍👍
I cant' believe no one ever though of putting together a tour with alice in chains and the lost, just imagine. chains, lost, biohazard, monster voodoo machine, soundgsrden etc..
