I had a Tour Edge EXS driver (2019 model), but it developed issues with the hosel. I sent it to Tour Edge so they could inspect it and within a week they simply upgraded me to a brand new C723. They're clearly trying to take care of customers... they also have a lifetime warranty.
Tour Edge is a somewhat discount company, but their Exotics line is top tier. The C723 and E723 are the Exotics line. They are most famous for their fairway woods and hybrids. They were creating rocket fairway woods years before Taylormade ever made Rocketballz. The Exotics CB1 started it all and it kept getting better and longer and longer. Their early drivers sucked which didn't make sense considering how good the fairway woods were but the las 2 or 3 drivers have been creeping up on the big boys and now they are able to compete but they still have room to improve. @@NewNineGolf I may be getting just because it comes stock with the Ventus. I did get another Driver, played 5 rounds, not gonna say it out loud because I haven't announced it yet but getting a Shaft of that caliber with the Dynapower... that alone be a steal
I also added a Tour Edge 3 wood and 2 hybrids this winter (C-721"s) and they have been awesome. My driver is a Cobra LTDxLS and it's possibly going to replace the two Tour EDge drivers that I have, but it's very very close.
At my fitting, I swapped the weights on the Triple Diamond to have the 14g in the back and 2g on the face. Added forgiveness and was still hitting bombs. Would love to see you try it out that way since you tinkered a bit with the Tour Edge Drive head also.
Great video! I ended up getting a stealth 2 plus after a session at the shop. I'm not a great player by any means but got my best results with it. I went to your site hoping to get some gloves, I'm a right handed player and maybe I'm blind but saw no right handed player gloves only left handed. Greetings from Saskatchewan 👋
Congrats on the new driver! Great choice. Thanks for checking out the shop. We sold out of left gloves but will be restocking soon. You can sign up for email notifications if you haven't already. 🇨🇦 ⛳🏌️🍻
great review..... bit of a surprise or is it ? lol..... i am beginning to think you can't go wrong with any driver nowadays but it all depends on the Shaft in the end....cheers from Vulcan Alberta
The Wilson driver was one my radar will Pete caved the face in. The Haywood driver looks really good though. Plus its a nice Canadian company. Great video though 🎉
I play Tour Edge E722 Driver thru 7 wood. Traded in my Mizuno ST-Z set. Tour Edge easier to swing well, more distance. I like the "thong" center stripe. It's a good alignment aid.
I’m yet to see one video where the Dynapwr isn’t long but guys seem to just stripe it straight. Great video…way to go TourEdge. First I’ve seen it hit it performed great
The standard Paradigm is a bit more forgiving as well. I think he just had a really good session with the triple diamond in the Calaway Bracket, but for not people the Paradigm is the more perfected than the triple diamond. Most people do prefer the triple diamond for the fairway woods. The smaller head is better off the carpet.
First off, excellent video. Absolutely loved the way it was laid out. I would love to see a video about every driver like this. I like the Wilson and I think it could have beat out the other drivers but it seemed like it was at a disadvantage because the other 2 drivers you were hitting 120+ club head speed and you were just under 118 with the Wilson. I think if you got Wilson to 120+ it would have edged the other 2 out.
Question. Is there a raking system to this? I noticed you haven’t but the big brands against each other in the first round. Just curious. Love the content.
Crazy results. Thanks for the honest comparisons!! Well done ……….young dad-iwan. Lol hope all is well my friend. (Get used to the dad jokes…..they’re coming for you) 🤷🏻♂️🤣
I’ve been testing almost all the drivers this year. I’m down to g430 lst and Dynapower. I’m leaning dynapower. I don’t know if it’s the lighter head weight or the way it sits at address but I seem to like it more.
@@suprandcan I just ask why you didn't like the 220 iv just bought the 220 but with a too light shaft but I am already thinking of selling for the 230 only it's not out long enough for a comparison to the 220
@@conalsands4748 my testing wasn’t very extensive at all. Used a friends club for one round and could not get along with it. Was hitting it very low and not long. But was mostly my swings and the equipment wasn’t optimized for me.
@@suprand I got the 220stz a few weeks back and iv used it 2 rounds the shaft 50 g R I feel is too light and just like you. Couldn't get height and distance and I'm not blaming the shaft but I just feel it is far too light so I am stuck on wether to get a heavier shaft or just sell it and get the Newer stz if there is a performance gain
I think that the club head speed with the Wilson was literally the only difference. I kinda wonder if you had hit it last if it would have been the best. It had the highest average smash factor
Let's see the Cobra Aerojet LS. Was just fitted for it. 2nd was Titleist TSR4 with Taylormade Stealth 2+ in 3rd. I also found the triple diamond to be a weak performer.
Ya those are the manufacturer's prices I was given. I was surprised too. I thinks it's because the Tour Edge is newer and they adjusted for the $. Not sure though.
Technically no it won’t be going head to head, but we did film a Gen 6 driver fitting that we will be releasing soon. I’ll include that data in the last video when I rank all the drivers.
Also think the Standard Callaway Paradym is better fit against the other clubs you used today. Triple Diamond is not designed for Average Mid Handicap Player.
I dont think it's cheating moving the weight that's literally what it's there for and should go in the clubs advantage. That being said I really wanted to see the callaway go through having recently brought the standard paradym lol. I'd love to see the standard paradym sneak into a triple threat like today's vid
I had dialled the Callaway head in a previous video. The heavy weight behind the face gave me way better results at the time. I just had a bad session with it that day. Paradym are still great drivers!
When you factor in that you swung the Dynapwr 2-2.5 mph slower than the other 2, it’s clear which one the winner really is. Maybe you weren’t fully warmed up when hitting the Wilson? Maybe better to hit 5 with each driver so you’re switching between them to eliminate any chance of this happening?
@@NewNineGolf hey Brandon thanks for your reply. What do you think caused the difference? Just got even warmer? Cos 2-2.5mph is not a small difference. Is the Dynapwr heavier? I’ve seen that with Ping drivers - their heavier heads can result in a slightly slower club head speed.
I think the forgiveness of the other two drivers kept my miss hits closer in bounds. If I didn’t hit the Paradym just right I paid for it. As fat as the clubhead speed, I'm not even sure. Some drivers I just don't swing as fast which is weird. In all fairness. If you look at the averages at the end. It was 1.6 mph difference.
@@NewNineGolf sorry, you’re correct. 1.6mph more on Paradym but 2mph more on Tour Edge. Either way, Dynapwr smash factor was slightly higher at 1.47 than the other two at 1.46. So good to finally have good drivers from so many companies, and so many price points. Cheers!
Oh ya. Haha You're right. Man my math skills need work. Lol. Totally so many good drivers. I wish I had more time to play around with that Wilson though. Only had it for that one session. Will definitely try to hit it again to compare and maybe with a different shaft too. 🍻
People say that about everyone of the big brand. Lol. I can tell you this guy cares about performance.... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-YMIC0A4yzoU.htmlsi=JKCqQMkPYppUJuFZ Play what works for you and your game.
I'm not entirely satisfied with this video... You took a Paradym TD which is less forgiving than a Paradym, and in my opinion, you would have had less dispersion with this... Just my opinion
I don’t get why you think a tour driver like triple diamond would be in the bracket……???? Then you put areospeed Ls vs ping max horrible placements . Callaway standard vs Wilson would be fair and possibly different outcome Why not ping Lst vs cobra ls ??? You talk forgiveness then go do what your doing doesn’t make any sense
So you’re new to the channel. First, Thanks for stopping by. In my previous videos I hit all the Callaway Paradym drivers and the Triple Diamon was the best performing (distance and accuracy) in my testing. The other two heads spin way too high for me it wouldn’t have been close. Also, the Ping LST spins higher than the Max. And that’s not just in my testing. I’ve talked to Ping directly and they have agreed the Max is spinning less than the LST. With the exception of the Wilson and Tour Edge, each one of these drivers in testing has been dialled in more than once so I can get the max potential out of them.
The Tour Edge Brand is insanely boring, I have no idea how they stay in business. Would love to see Nike swoosh in and buy them, then make Nike clubs again!
