Thanks for explaining, It really helped but also do make a video tutorial of four lined complete worksheet with doted alphabets
@TheTeacher

Glad that helped. In the next comment (that you might find in your Likely SPAM section) I will give you a link through which you can download and install to have dotted letters in that table and it will be really easy for you to type text within the table. Hope that will also help. (or you can Google for Dotted Fonts)

Actually I want to add a new table to the right side of previously created table in ms word. How shall I do it ?
@TheTeacher
@TheTeacher 7 лет назад
Look, you can't create 2 tables side by side by drawing the first one and later thinking of creating another one at the left or right side of the previous table. That can't be done with ease. You have 2 options for that. Let's say that you want 2 tables of 2x2 side by side having a gap between them. Then the first method is to draw a single table of 5x2 i.e. 5 columns 2 rows. Then select the 3rd column and hide it's border using Border and Shading command. Then it will look like you have 2 tables side by side and that is the easiest and correct method of doing that. Otherwise, as you have already created a table and you want another table at right side of the first one then draw a Text Box using Shapes tool and then while having your cursor inside the text box, insert the table. Later, hide the Text Box outline using No Line option from the Format menu.

Can you plz make a tutorial on how we can make four lined paper for doted alphabet tracing on MS word for preschoolers?
@TheTeacher
@TheTeacher 6 лет назад
Yes, I can but can you show me a picture of that because I have seen the 3 lines note books of children and if you mean by the same but with 4 lines then it is very easy and I can explain it right here. If you don't get that then let me know and I will surely make a short video on that. Insert a table, let's say - 1 Column and 30 rows. Now, what you only need to do is to apply a custom border to it or use Eraser from Layout menu and then remove the left and right lines or you can select the entire table and then go to Borders / Borders and Shading under Design menu and here click the Left and Right lines in the Preview to remove them. That will create a simple single lines on the page and if you want a gap after each 4 lines set then again either use the Eraser or go to More Borders again but first select the 5th Row and then go to Borders and Shading again and this time remove the Bottom Line from the Preview. You can watch my Table video to learn more about tables. Maybe I will come up with some new tutorials on Microsoft Word for Beginners. Let me know.

In Hebrew when I put in justification, the last sentence in each paragraph that contains a shorter sentence is aligned to the left, and I need it to be aligned to the right. How do I change this in Word to the right? I love the way the paragraphs are justified since it makes for easier reading.
@TheTeacher
@TheTeacher 7 лет назад
That is the most common problem I have seen people face during Paragraphs. So, here are the explanations: First of all, you need to understand the difference between a paragraph and a line in Microsoft Word. In Microsoft Word, when you hit the Enter key either after typing a single word or a complete sentence then Word will assume it as a line. For your information, if you enable the Show/Hide Paragraph Marks button from the Home tab under Paragraph section then Word will start showing you all the hidden paragraph marks in your document and you can notice that each line of your so called paragraph has a paragraph mark which is Enter key. So Word is assuming all the lines in your paragraph as separate lines instead of a single paragraph. In Microsoft Word, you don't need to hit the Enter key in the end of each line of a paragraph. According to your page dimensions and Margins and available area, Word will automatically shift the contents to the next line while writing a paragraph and then you can select and justify that paragraph. To correct your correct paragraphs you can remove those enter marks from the end of each line. So, the final conclusion is not to hit the Enter key while typing a paragraph. Just hit the Enter when you finish typing a paragraph. Hope that will help, let me know!

I have a two page document that I have justified the paragraphs. On the second page toward the bottom, I have a line that is spaced and it doesn't fit the document. How do I fix that line?
@TheTeacher
@TheTeacher 4 года назад
"I have a line that is spaced", what you mean by that? You should only press the Enter key in the end of a paragraph. You can send me your file and I will adjust the settings @ rajivkohli1977@gmail.com

The text in my Word 2016 documents is always aligned to the RIGHT, even though my default language is English. I tried to delete Hebrew as a language (as Hebrew text reads from left to right), and have set English as my default language, but it doesn't matter. Don't know what to do.
@TheTeacher
@TheTeacher 6 лет назад
I think that could be because of change in the Default Paragraph settings. From the Home tab, in the Paragraph section press the Arrow button at bottom right corner of that section to open the Paragraph settings. In General section, under Alignment see if that is already set to Right. If that is then change it Left and click the button Set As Default. When ask you want to save the changes for "This document....." or "All Documents...." choose "All Documents". Hope that will help. Let me know.

How do I do a right alignment and have the two sentences flushed from the left for signature block purposes? I am typing a government document for signing purposes.
@TheTeacher
@TheTeacher 7 лет назад
I didn't understand your question clearly. You said "Alignment". There are 4 kinds of alignment in Microsoft Word. Left, Centre, Right and Justify. You can use CTRL+R keyboard shortcut to align your text to the right side. Maybe that is what you are asking for. P.S.: I'm setting things up and will soon come up with more tutorials for beginners to advance level.

Please someone help me with the solution. When I select a paragraph and press the justify option, the whole page got justified. How I can get rid of this problem?
@TheTeacher
@TheTeacher 4 года назад
Paragraphs should be separated by Paragraph Marks i.e. Pressing Enter Key in the end of each of the paragraph on the page.

I get these annoying squares as well as those line breaks in the newest version of work. I can't delete line breaks they won't budge, do you know what this is? thanks
@TheTeacher

Maybe you turned on Paragraph Marks button by mistake. You can find it in Home tab "Show / Hide". See, if turning it off helps. Let me know or you can also post a screenshot.
