Yeah, it was also especially weird how in eoh you could match up the world and scary monsters diego and they'd both use the mirror match quote. Good to see that there's now a proper mirror match quote for the alternate as well as an alternate vs original diego dialogue
@@HaremArchon The original text is better translated as "Time is mine alone" or "Time belongs to only me", or anything along those lines. "Me time" comes across as Alt Diego being cocky with his overpowered time stop. It's a phrase you would use to describe taking time to relax (for example "Time for a little me time" as you lie down to rest), but Diego's applying it to the ability that lets him freely screw with everyone
I'm surprised that all the Dio characters got their own interactions. 0:31 But I kinda wish they gave Dio Brando and Diego Brando (Scary Monsters) an interaction.
Of course DLC character once again got their new interactions especially Joseph who mostly with it. So glad to see DIO and Diego got their interaction with AU Diego because both are the same VA
I wasn't expecting an interaction between AU Diego and Phantom Blood's Dio. That was an interaction that threw me off, but one that I absolutely was happy to see.
When steel ball run gets adapted to anime, I hope koyasu-san will voice diego. No matter what timeline or what alternate universe, he will always be DIO.
They really missed an opportunity for either Jotaro to have an interaction with Diego, Diego would of probably lost his shit when he realizes Star Platinum can stop time aswell lol
Well you see the Nijimura father has been very abusive to Keicho and Okuyasu and started working for DIO before while he inserted a seed on the father's body. And then after the father said, "Aaah! DIO's Dead!", the seed begins to mutate on his body while Keicho does everything in his power to kill his dad. So this interaction means Keicho thinks Diego is DIO and is asking him how to cure his dad.
@@FDR-ww6xz but i would love to see keicho with dio like how diegos was but dio could actually say something about keichos father and probably okuyashu
Also dio could have had an interaction with okuyashu with dio fingerings out that okuyashu is the son of the guy who worked for dio, and maybe say something about okuyashus dad
Mostly the characters just say something familiar about the DLC character. So their interaction intros and outros only come from their taunt quotes and victory quotes.
I think alt!Diego and Dio Brando is my favorite. Dio be like, hm, stopping time, excellent idea. Come to think of it, Stand powers manifest based on your desires and needs. I wonder, if you thought really hard about a specific power, could you manifest it on purpose?
When I first started asbr I was wondering where alternate Diego was, and here he is. Now, we just need the character with the best localized name... Yep, you guessed it! Bruford/Blueford! Call me crazy, but I think he'd be a perfect addition.
I can easily picture it considering how even his Part 1 and 3 Dios were different: Part 1 Dio had a British accent, which faded a lot for Part 3. Considering how there's still a lot of boom to both voices, perhaps Diego could have been a British accent but sounding more airy and reserved.
I wonder how much Joseph's VA got paid compared to the other base game voice actors, since by the end of the dlc run he's going to have a lot more lines than the rest of the base game cast
Well what did you except? The voice actor has some practice to do when SBR gets animated (whenever that is because we all know how tiring it is to animate horses)
DLC Characters: * Hey I know you.* Characters originally from the game: *I know you too. But I can only say something familiar with a quote from one of my taunts. *
@@ChiefMedicPururu -It's Diego! Wait... His ability is different, is this president's work? -Gyro Zeppili, Valentine told me about you. Show me what your spin can do! Diego win: Your infinite spin is sure a dangerous ability. But my the world is superior! Gyro win: He can stop time? I'm lucky golden spin can surpass that...
Basically, they would need to recall the voice actors, whereas for Joseph and the dlcs, they record all of them at the same time (Joseph has your next line is voiceline), for other characters, like Valentine or Johnny, they uses generic lines taken from their taunts For Gyro, since they never met they prob didn't bother to put a generic taunt
